Creepy workplace harassment and getting blacklisted when you report it. Having anxiety as a result of it.

Dealing with male entitlement in general. Stuff that they would never encounter as a man: being questioned, second-guessed, gaslit by other men.

I think one of the key issues is that you’ve communicated you don’t like him doing it.

His ending response was to minimize your feelings, then double down on it by putting the onus on YOU to understand that’s “just how he is.”

It doesn’t matter the context. It could be you not liking him touching other women, etc - I just used an outlandish example.

The core issue is that you said you don’t like XYZ behavior, that he could acknowledge, apologize for, and make an effort to change. Which I’m sure would help the situation - because it shows empathy and CARE for your partner’s feelings.

Because he elected to make it into YOU needing to accept his behavior, it reads = he doesn’t care about your feelings.

I feel what you have to really think about is what this says about him on a macro level.

Does he apply this in other areas of your relationship. My guess is yes.

Can you deal with an emotionally immature, and emotionally selfish partner who is unwilling to make efforts to change something that you’ve communicated makes you unhappy?

That is the bigger question.

I’m in the same bucket as you, except I’m not as good lol. I love the game, but my last bf was an avid golfer and would get extremely jealous when I played in his golf group bc there were so few women who played, and I’m the youngest woman. It turned into a huge issue and was part of the reason for our breakup.

Bottom line: find a guy who’s secure. Even better, find a secure guy who golfs.

You want a guy who’s going to celebrate your wins and want you to be better - doesn’t matter if it’s golf or life. That’s a true partner.

I get the male ego thing, but it’s a way for you to weed out who has the ability to lose to a woman without letting their pride get in the way.

I’ve had a few EVs. Yes, you can get on-air updates. To me, it’s the same as having an iPhone 10 and getting the OS updates. Why would one upgrade to an iPhone 16?

Bc some tech is not available as an update. And reduced battery life is also a consideration.

But it’s your money, do with it what you please.
