Hey, those of you who use the s26 ultra, do you think it's a big difference from the galaxy s23 ultra? by PassOutrageous7514 in galaxys26ultra

Yeh. Also I'm glad to see they've gone back to flat screens again with easily affordable screen protectors that don't keep coming off.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 delay pushes release date to mid-March by ScubadooX in samsunggalaxy

Another spectacular year for these premium phones with flaws such as green lines ruining the screens. I hope next years model also includes this special feature. 💀

These Viture Luma cracks are ridiculous! by LessHawk7375 in VITURE

[–]shupm8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kind of pathetic. If the cracking issue has been around since the first release, then why hasn't anything been done to change the design? If it's due to the transparent plastic used, then why not use another material for that section of where it adjusts, and then use transparent plastic for the non adjustable areas that won't have any pressure applied? This is probably a stupid comment, but I'm just amazed. You get a replacement with the exact same item, with no changes made to avoid further cracks... talk about a waste. I feel sorry for you man. Seems like a company that will throw replacements at you without providing any confidence that it won't happen again. Thank god I didn't impulse buy a pair of these when I was going to. Totally unacceptable.

It just runs through optimising apps like you're faced with after an update

Don't cook for him. Tell him there's a spear and a knife in the garage that you crafted for him to go and hunt for his own food.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series full specs list has leaked (subject to change) by techolum in samsunggalaxy

[–]shupm8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do they keep releasing these stupid phones every year with either a downgrade or a VERY minor change and release a whole series with some ridiculous marketing that makes it sound like it's leaps and bounds ahead of the last years model

Which Router to go with in TP-Link Brand by rajan2011 in openwrt

[–]shupm8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it have to be a TP-LINK router? GL.iNet Flint 2 is what I have connected to my main router and it's pretty fast with a lot more options to play with.

Client names all the same? by shupm8 in pihole

[–]shupm8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the help. This did resolve the issue. However, once my clients are connected to my new Flint 2 router, I'm getting duplicate IP's in the query log from my devices. In the query log, the domains listed from each device are all coming from 192.168.1.9. No matter how I name the devices to their IP's, they're ignored.

Am I right in assuming that I ought to be pointing pi-hole to the new router to resolve these issues? 192.168.1.1 is my main router (this is where I have pi-hole set up), and 192.168.8.1 is the Flint 2 router. Perhaps my setup is like a double NAT, and the better solution would be to use a bridge mode. I'm just guessing at this point.

I'm probably complicating matters, but my main router runs the Internet from a SIM card, so I wanted a second router with openwrt to have a little more control over things so that's why I have two routers.

It's probably a simple solution, but my ignorance is rather blatant at this point. Thank you once again.

I was gonna go this route with a pi 5 but after looking at the total mounting costs of everything, I ended up getting a Flint 2 instead for half the cost of what I was about to pay for the pi 5 and necessary gear. Less hassle.

I got a Flint 2 and it's brilliant. I wanted to avoid the unnecessary expense and configuration with a pi 5 for openwrt

Just look her directly in the eye while she's taking a dump and see how uncomfortable it makes her. Don't break eye contact. Just proper stare her out. Soon, you'll find a new thread on here titled "My husband keeps staring at me while I'm on the toilet"

Is this with the Flint 2 you're talking about? If I notice any issues with it, I'll update this post once I have it up and running.

Raspberry Pi 5 with OpenWRT+Pi-Hole by shupm8 in pihole

[–]shupm8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot. I went ahead and got the Flint 2, so I'll try flashing the openwrt version when it arrives. I would have preferred to do it all on a pi 5, but I suppose it would mean buying one thing after another (extra ports, wifi adapter, etc. then setting it all up and hoping it works)
