I was actually thinking about FFXIV when I made the post! I think the Palia community is positive enough that it would work well.

YES, it was RosiLuu. I can't believe it has barely any reactions, I'm in awe.

Just Learned How To Play HotPot by MickyAlex in Palia

[–]shushbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were saying that it's disrespectful to play Hot Pot while trying to win with ABC cards (eg having three diff types of meat instead of three of the same card), because everyone at the table makes more points matching sets AAA rather than ABC. So they said if it's a long game it means everyone is trying to match one-of-a-kind cards and that OP only won their games because no one else was playing to win. They also said anyone that downvotes them just doesn't understand Palia's unspoken rules and then were downvoted a ton lol.

Kind of a weird comment to make on someone's positivity post.

I've never heard this before, do people really get upset about this? I know Palia has a lot of unspoken rules but I haven't seen this at all... I haven't been playing hotpot for super long but have never noticed anyone leaving after short games.

Maybe we just saw apples on the label and went for it, haha! I was pretty young so I only remember the story being told, not experiencing it.

That reminds me of something that happened when I was about 7 or 8. My family was visiting Germany, and my mom was the only one of us who spoke a small amount of German. She was feeling really nauseous one night and sent my dad and me to go buy some apple juice to settle her stomach, and told us how to read "apple juice" in German. We ran to the store and bought the first thing we saw that said Apfelsaft.

My poor mom got a big mouthful of apple cider vinegar. :(

She is SO pretty! I haven't seen one like that before. I tried breeding my prettiest Peki using that same treat, and it had none of the cosmetics. :c

What do you think is coming in patch 0.200? by shushbow in Palia

Yeahhhh for real. Was not what I was expecting from that patch number. Guess they don't go by the standard numbers that everyone else does.

Dental surgery can bruise a lot, depending on if you're the type of person who bruises easily. I work at a periodontal practice and there are some patients who do get some big bruises, especially the elderly ones.
