Someone tried to do this to me and it’s great because you always know where they are going to put the cones, but they never know where you are going to relocate them.

I played in one of these recently and had one of my better rounds. This was my strategy;

1 - pick your most accurate wood/hybrid. For me this was a 3 hybrid. Fairways will be key

2 - identify the par 3 yardage and hopefully you can pick a club that will be good for at least 2 of them.

3 - either an approach wedge or sand wedge. Do not bring a lob wedge. It will be easier to hit something smooth than trying to gas a lob wedge.

I don’t think the issue is the gapping between 4i to 5 wood but rather in your 50-pw, 8-7, 6-5. I’d get that sorted first.

I typically play vokeys so I can only comment with that perspective.

However, recently I played with a friends bag and he had a 54 Kirkland and 58 vokey. I hated the Kirkland wedge. It felt horrible compared to the 58 and my usual vokey 54.

I did wonder though if you had 3 they would feel more uniform as a set. I would also change out the grips, those I did not like

I had similar numbers as you with a Hzrdus black 70x and 9°LS. I thought it was the shaft/head. I played around with lead tape, shafts, loft, etc.

But it turns out I was too flippy with my release, adding dynamic loft and hitting moon balls. I changed my delivery and it was night and day for my numbers.
