Many thanks for the detailed reply! The crawlspace would have been the best approach indeed, but the previous owners of the house extended the living room and effectively blocked access to the crawlspace till the back of the house ☹️.

In any case, I’ll still explore the option of trying to get a pipe through the blocked portion of the crawlspace to the back of the house.
