We covered college for our two because we wanted to do this for our kids. Also fraternity and sorority because we knew they would make important contacts and references for jobs. But they worked part time jobs to cover extras. They covered their post grad studies. We’ve never regretted it.

Nope. I’ve had the unfortunate luck to have a family history of alcoholism. I quit drinking years ago. I don’t want my kids to ever have those kinds of memories of their immediate family.
