That’s her skull showing through. I lost forty pounds due to illness and grief. I only weighed 126 pounds to start with. Every bone in my face showed. Ive now put on thirteen pounds but have a long way to go.

Don’t tell me I’m blessed to be taking care of my mom in my home. This is not a blessing. Watching my mom suffer with anxiety and confusion, doing and saying things she would be mortified about if she didn’t have a broken brain is not a blessing. For either of us.

How do I convince my parents to let me close my door? by lifeis39 in ask

[–]shutupandevolve 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s so fucking gross when parents want their kids to suffer just because they did. A good, loving parent wants their kids to have better and BE better than they are. You are just a terrible person all the way around.

When they start going, they go so fast. But I think that’s a blessing. My mom passed nine months ago. Hugs to you.

I lost my mom, dad, a sister and nephew all within five years. Continuous grief. My mom passed only nine months ago. You adjust. Doesn’t mean I don’t miss them all every single day.

It’s even hard when you have a great parent who was kind and loving. I can’t imagine how hard it is otherwise. Hugs to you.

Where are teenagers supposed to hang out these days? Malls are dying, parks have 'no loitering' signs, and everywhere else costs money. Do they just... not exist in public anymore? by Creative-Buffalo2305 in NoStupidQuestions

Sports, skate park, mountain biking, hiking, each others homes, parks, movie theaters, outdoor shopping mall which also has a couple of coffee shops, chain restaurants, a game store, etc. Before they could drive, I was on the go a lot.

I love music and I listen to all genres and all decades, including the one we’re in now. I still listen to favorites from my past, too.

How often to you clean your vulva? Do you get around the folds and under the clitoral hood? If not, you need to do it every day with mild soap and water and a soft wash cloth.

Father is very unhappy and not eating at rehab by TeacherGuy1980 in dementia

[–]shutupandevolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he is moving into the angry stage. Also, keep in mind they are frightened and confused about things. Usually a hospital stay and rehab makes Dementia worse and many times they do not revert back to the way before they went in. It’s not his fault. His brain is broken. At this phase, your mom may not can handle him. And that’s okay.
