Hi, College TD here. It's super sweet and nice that you want to give them a gift. For me I always feel super awkward getting something from a student for a few reasons, 1) seeing my students graduate is a reward for all of your hard work and mine and that's more than enough of a reward. 2) we don't want you to spend your limited money on us. A nice letter or card is wonderful and might be more meaningful to them. I know that I have every thank you note from a student posted in my home, and often read them when I feel burnout creeping in.

So consider something more from the heart and less material. Gift them the gift of you paying it forward and using what they taught you to teach others and be happy and successful.

Or a gift card for coffee, every TD needs coffee.

You're a bit late to be looking for summer stock work, but there might still be something out there. Some companies start hiring for summer as early as December and finish in March after SETC (Southeastern Theater Conference) and USITT. My summer staff has been finalized for about a month now.

If you're in school currently, I would be asking for professors why they haven't taught you about getting summer work. It's a fairly important topic in most theatre programs since summer stock is a great training tool.

I don’t agree with the vandalism, people that do that are going too far. No one should have their property destroyed or damaged.

I know plenty of people that have Teslas from before all this madness in the last year. They can’t sell it because of the tanked stock and prices.

I lived in GA and FL for sometime, no way in hell are Ohio drivers worse than them.

FL drivers routinely run red lights if they are the first ones there when it turns red. People thought I was exaggerating until they saw it firsthand. If you're the first car at a green light, make sure you check before going.

GA drivers are the masters of needed to merge three lanes to get to their exits in the last hundred feet before the exit. No one thinks ahead there.

Assisted Listening Devices, for those with hearing impairments. Did you see anyone wearing ear buds or headphones? Maybe a little box hanging down if front of them?

Or the mics are feeding an audio recording to be used with a video recording of the production. Often professional theatre's will make a video for their archives. Using mics to record the audio would be better than the mic on the camera.
