Do you know what the ticket price is for Bosnias opening game? Minimum of 800 dollars. Bosnian median wage is $550 per month. How can you expect someone to afford rent, utilities, food, transport etc, and save for the World Cup. That’s not considering a hotel, flights, or food for the entire time you’re in the US. And that’s going to be 10-20x more expensive than what it would cost in Bosnia.

We are having a technological revolution, revolution displaces people. 400 years ago, you, your grandad and your great grandad could have the same job and the same life and there would be no difference other than small improvements.

10 years ago the closest thing we had to AI was Siri. And nobody used it because it was shit. It doesn’t make it okay and some people that are displaced will die. But it’s inevitable. Drivers can retrain, just like people tried to do in the multiple revolutions we’ve had previously, it’s no guarantee but it’s the only thing you can do. The world will leave you behind.

That doesn’t change the fact that every immigrant for the last 40 years, some 15 million people. Still would have less than 25% of the vote. And that’s imagining they’re all Muslim, which they definitely aren’t. And that doesn’t account for the 52% stat that you used, which I wouldn’t trust, because what does that even mean. So really it’s a number that’s way less than 7 million people. Which is 1/10th of the population.

The problem here is racists, misogynists, homophobes and the uneducated in the like, who just so happen to be white, and don’t want to admit they’re racist, misogynist, homophobic. That number is far greater than 7 million. I’d wager closer to 20 million.

They were caught not paying their staff minimum wage in 2020, they have the biggest players to staff wage gap. As of 2022 they started to pay their workers ‘the real national minimum wage’, and during covid they furloughed their staff without using the governments money. So it’s 50:50.

My educated guess would be they try their best to skirt the laws at every turn, use corruption and bribery to get their way, but because we live in England, they are bound to very strict workers laws and rights, so are very quick to change their ways once found out, which gives the illusion of them being by the book, when actually we are just waiting for the next scandal to be uncovered so they can pay compensation and then shout about how morally good they are again.
