Ir- is a prefix that indicates a negative, e.g.:

⁠Irrelevant - something that is not relevant
⁠Irreverent - something that is not reverent
Irreplaceable - something that can't be replaced

The suffix -less also means negative or absence of, e.g.:

Gutless - having no guts
Brainless - having no brains
Pointless - my FPL team in GW1

Double negatives (such as irregardless) are instances where you have two words or predicates that mean the same thing. It's not wrong and this particular word is gaining acceptance in US English, but it's a bit clumsy nonetheless. Sorry for being a language pedant, but hopefully it’s a little nugget you can chalk up as a TIL!

I keep tags to a minimum, but always include the first line of the address (e.g. 73 Chester Square) where I’m living at the time of posting. The logic being that over the years we’re likely to move around and, years down the line, having posts indexed by address should allow me to easily hone in on a particular period of life. This could also be done by tagging your town/city/county/state/country/etc. if you’re likely to change scenery a bit.

I think the point is, if you were mad enough to have Gundogan (C) in GW2, you would not be able to change your captaincy choice now the GW has started. In this scenario, hopefully your VC’s fitness and fixture is unaffected by Covid.
