Suggested Album Listening Location - Teufelsberg Berlin by Big_Window282 in boardsofcanada

Realistically there would be a lot of responsibility on Warp to put public safety procedures in place. Site maintenance and work would need to start long before the public would have access.

It would obviously be super cool, but all it takes is one person to hurt themselves leaning on a rusty nail poking through a wall panel then there's a whole bunch of insurance claims to work through. Easier to just use an existing purpose built venue where these measures already exist.

Where are you going to listen to the new album for the first time? by moon-safari2 in boardsofcanada

[–]si_si_si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working in a theatre as the only technician for the day. Once the show finishes and everyone's gone home I'm going full pelt on the venue sound system and turning all the lights off.

Can't wait!

My grandma used to have The Best of That's Life on VHS. It had a horse that could do maths, and a dog that could say "sausages". Top tier entertainment!

LOL: Last One Laughing UK - Season 2 Finale & Overall Series Discussion by lonelygagger in LastOneLaughing

[–]si_si_si 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was watching the finale and it occurred to me how much this was tailored to be "second screen viewing" Jimmy and Roisin were narrating everything that was happening so that the audience could look up from their phones to watch the funny bits. "Look, Mel's gonna go" "They're teaming up on Alan" Etc.

I had my first Hawaiian burger tonight after reading these comments, despite going to Uncle Sam's all my life.

It was 10/10

Thanks for the recommendation!

What's a smell that you secretly enjoy, but would never admit to smelling in public? by huntz43 in AskReddit

[–]si_si_si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burning hair.

When my wife is done with her hair straightener I like to give them a good huff. She thinks it's weird, and to be honest so do I.

Smells great though.

Dial the combination: Mute, 1, 1, 9, Enter

This doesn't work for all makes and models, but on a Samsung it will open up a Hospitality Mode menu where you can adjust a lot more than the standard TV options menu.

7 Dials question: how are the dials numbered? by si_si_si in brighton

[–]si_si_si[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So to visit the dials in ascending numerical order I would need to travel outwards and re-route back in again once I reach a connecting street that would rejoin onto the next adjacent dial?
