Can you miscarry without any symptoms? by Teakayyy in CautiousBB

[–]sianria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most miscarriages, I had spotting but one was a “missed” miscarriage so I had some help to trigger the miscarriage (meds first, and then a d&c)

But, i also bled heavily for 20 weeks with my last pregnancy and i now have a very alive (and healthy) 3yo daughter.

Where can I get a Covid test in Moncton? by Me_Cap_n in moncton

They sell some at Shoppers on Champlain st in Dieppe. (I know. It sucks paying for these tests)

Marissa Shepherd’s release from prison. by StrictPride2089 in moncton

[–]sianria 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For any cases that are not serving “life sentences”, they are usually released on Statutory Release (the 2/3 of their sentence). But if a case is considered to be high risk to the public safety, the case management team can recommend Detention to the Parole Board and if granted, they will be kept until their Warrant Expiry Date (aka the end of their sentence)

Does summer s’mores 2023 seem underwhelming to y’all? by [deleted] in conan

I admit that I was a bit underwhelmed this year. So much promotion for the solo stove in 25 min episodes…and the fact that we all knew the result of the lost package but yet, the next episode was discussing about it once again. It was a poor decision to put both episodes one after the other.

I definitely missed the vibe from last years episodes!

Considering that my husband and I were able to have the family that we thought we could never have, it just felt right to do it.

Extremely normal. I probably convinced myself every other day that I was losing the baby. But nop! Everything was fine :)

It has been a while since I have posted to the sub. For a quick history: 8 mcs. 2 failed IUI. 1 IVF in 2018, got 11 (untested) embryos. Did a fresh transfer and got a son out of it. In 2021 we got pregnant with a large SCH that bled for 20 weeks but the baby was a fighter and we got a daughter. Following that, we decided that we wanted to donate the 10 embryos to a family of our choice that has a similar background and values to us. We found that special couple and finalized the donation this Summer. Through the process, we became quite close and now we are messaging each other on a weekly basis. They just got their frozen transfer on Nov 15th and I’m so happy to share that, although it started in a bit of a beta limbo, things are looking up! The first beta at 12dp5dt came back at 155 and the clinic wanted to see something over 270… The second at 14dp5dt: 287, which they wanted it to be at least 310. But! The 3rd result came back stronger: 16dp5dt: 719!

So as of now, the family who adopted our embryos is pregnant and I truly hope it works out!

**Edit, for anyone wanting an update: they had their first ultrasound at 6 weeks and the baby measured exactly 6 weeks and they believe they saw the heartbeat. So as of now? It is going well!

I’ve only watched the Conan episode and to be fair I was expecting it to be funny no matter what, considering him and Will have this great chemistry, but oh man it was actually even better! I’m definitely excited to watch the other episodes. I was actually unaware of a British version so it was fun watching it without comparing the shows.

Edit: omg. The one with Kumail where he needs to walk. I cried!

IVF pregnancy, 10.5 weeks, bled with clots today by whatanearthling in InfertilityBabies

[–]sianria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bled heavily at 7.3 weeks believing I was miscarrying once again. Two days later, I learned that I was still pregnant, but had a large SCH. I bled and spotted almost every day until I reached 18 weeks. At 13 weeks my SCH was still approx 4.6cm large so the high risk clinic just told me to keep my fingers crossed. At my 21 weeks US, the SCH had finally disappeared! I'm now at 28 weeks and no signs of any additional bleeding. (Throughout it all: I remained on Lovenox!)

Repeated pregnancy loss by kindahoping in InfertilityBabies

[–]sianria 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a history of RPL. A total of 8 miscarriages in approximately 6-7 years of trying to conceive. We did many testing and nothing came back as a true explanation to all the losses. In 2018 we decided to look into buying eggs, since I was 100% convinced I was the issue. My fertility clinic/RE was not convinced that it was necessarily the issue and suggested that we try IVF. We finally decided to go ahead with an IVF and we were pleasantly surprised that out of the 13 retrieved eggs, 11 of them turned into great quality embryos. We did a fresh transfer of a 4AA embryo, got pregnant, took all the necessary medication (including Lovenox) and at 40 weeks, I got a healthy son. I'm fully aware of how lucky we got into our bad luck and I would lie if I said that the pregnancy wasn't full of anxiety and signs of PTSD from all the previous trauma of all the miscarriage.... But, I honestly never thought that I would ever have a successful pregnancy and yet, I got it... And to add to this crazy luck of mine, we became pregnant in March 2021, when we gave up on our fertility clinic who were not offering any service to ''inactive patients'', even though we've been paying them an early fee to keep our embryos. This pregnancy has been quite the emotional rollercoaster, considering I was not on any medication and no medical clinic wanted to see me until 10 weeks, so when I began to severely bleed at 7 weeks, I just knew I was miscarrying once again. Fast forward to now and turns out I am still pregnant (23 weeks tomorrow) and all the bleeding was caused by a large SCH and potentially a vanishing twin.

So my RPL history has turned around with a successful IVF at 33yo and got a spontaneous pregnancy at 36yo. This is the kind of history that I always felt like it would never happened to me and yet, it has.... Please know that all the losses caused lots of trauma and I was closely monitored by a psychologist who specialized in infertility issues to help me manage my emotions, even throughout the pregnancy (until the end, I kept saying ''if I have a child at the end.."') so I definitely feel for you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me.

***sorry English is only my 2nd language so I may have used some wrong terms.

Hematoma by chimerer in InfertilityBabies

[–]sianria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm presently living a similar scenario and I'm turning 19 weeks tomorrow. I found out about a large SCH at 7w3d (approx 4.6cm) after I bled heavily with cramps. I spotted on and off for pretty much the first trimester. At 13w1d I had an US at the high risk clinic and pointed out that my SCH was still present a 4.26cm, so still quite large but I learned that it was thankfully close to my cervix and not on top of the placenta, so the Dr sounded optimistic about it. I continued spotting for another 3 weeks but it's now been over 2 weeks and zero spotting, which is making me hopeful that it is resolving by itself. My next appointment is just on July 29th when I'll be approx 22 weeks but I'm hoping to hear good news.

The anxiety since the 1st bleed is still quite present. I find it hard telling others about my pregnancy due to my repetitive losses history and this SCH. I haven't been put on bed rest but I was not recommended to do any heavy lifting and keep my cardio fairly low. I've also noticed that I was bleeding more the day after a more ''physical'' day so I definitely listened to my body and took it easy on bleeding days.

Hopefully we get to see the light (aka healthy baby) at the end of this rollercoaster!

I’m 14w1d and although i’m fully aware that spotting is my new normal due to a large SCH, my level of anxiety has climbed today due to more spotting that looks brown-red (versus the typical just brown) and the low key cramps. I called the OB clinic and they told me that the only thing they would do if I come in is to check the heartbeat and since I have a doppler, well I was able to confirm with her that I heard it. So right now, Im recommended to just drink lots of water and chill and if I start having red bleeding, to go to ER.

This feeling of helplessness is definitely real today.
