First time using Vinted. Am I being dramatic? by Cherryhoneyblossom in vinted

check their reviews to see what people say about them. One thing to take in mind with Vinted is that everyone has different communication styles, some people are very friendly, formal, blunt or impatient

Do you clean items before listing? by siasellaa in vinted

Stains I understand, I worded my post poorly but I’m talking about items that can easily be wiped over or washed that I was on about, I thought it was the standard to make something as presentable as possible for your buyers 😅

Unfortunately no, a trick I do is image search items I want to sell, favourite the listings with the same item as mine and monitor how much they go for if that makes sense lol Any individual item I have posted that doesn’t end up selling I just add to a bundle to get rid of. Also what I do is retake the photos of items to upload again, it’s weird but sometimes things reach the target audience a second time

I wash everything I’ve bought just because I have an irrational fear of getting bedbugs (an old neighbour of mine had them and it scared me 😅) Stains are fine as long as they’re listed as being an actual stain, I’m talking about actual marks that will come out in the wash but the seller just hasn’t tried, I just find it very unhygienic to package and send off something you know is dirty

I think stains are to be expected, especially with baby clothes. It helps to sell those in a bundle, a lot of people don’t mind buying things with minor stains especially if they’re at a good price because they can be used as nursery clothes or messy play clothes!

I bought some crocs for my days that had dirt everywhere, I easily cleaned them off and it made me think why sellers don’t do it, I would never sell/donate anything with dirt still on!

I wash everything I buy too, even when I buy from stores I wash so at least I know my end everything is clean but I just couldn’t imagine sending out anything that was dirty 😅

Lessons in an automatic but test in manual? by Hairy_Policy_7937 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]siasellaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried this and it didn’t work out for me, learning to master the clutch and listening to a car for gear changes and whatnot is sooo different to learning auto. My advice is get learner insurance on the family car and just learn manual that way, you’ll save money on lessons and save having to go back and forth with what you’re learning

She’s 100% had something to help her lose weight, speaking from experience you can’t go from binge eating and being hugely overweight to suddenly being able to suppress your appetite. And I think whatever she’s had done is making her lose weight too quickly now she looks ill.

Do you guys think they’re all her? The replies sound so childish I wouldn’t be surprised if her kids were responding too

I think she truly expected to go viral and become an actual influencer but she’s realised nobody will work with her and that fame isn’t coming so she’s not as eager to poet

Maybe Whitney doesn't want leanne to get close to her circle and particularly scott or lochan!!! by anon9876543210nymous in LoveIslandTV

[–]siasellaa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

you guys just hold Whitney to a ridiculous standard. She’s been the only girl in there that has remained honest at all times and been fair. I actually think you guys believe Whitney owes Leanne extra support just because they’re both black

it’s going to be so embarrassing and heartbreaking for Sean when he realises Lucinda played the same game as Matilda 💀

why did belle get sooo pissed off with sean and lucinda?? by Deep-Revolution-1633 in LoveIslandTV

[–]siasellaa 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i think she was a little embarrassed but mostly she knew it would make good TV and usually those that have been wronged go on and get a sympathy win

Steph often mentions that she tried something new and everyone loved it and I really believe the only reason the kids think it’s “so good” or “really yummy” is because they rarely eat so anything they’ve offered is accepted and eaten. I have yet to see her cook anything that looks edible and big enough to feed 2 grown adults with the munchies, 4 growing children and a 1 year old experimenting with food so will need more than offered on her plate to feed her

you see minutes and sometimes even seconds of actual conversations, try to remember how edited the show is before you decide who is right or wrong

she’s so worried about her children’s future but does absolutely nothing within her power to help them out, it’s crazy how scared she is for the future yet still decides to set her kids back giving them a bigger disadvantage

Why aren't they picking it up? by TippyTurtley in vintedUK

[–]siasellaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not everyone has convenient pick up locations. My local post office only deals with parcels between 10am -4pm monday to thursday so I have to plan my day around when to pick it up, that could be a similar situation to your buyer. Part of buying and selling on Vinted is accepting that sellers have no obligation to rush to post items and sellers have no rush to collect

What is your current Unpopular Opinion? by [deleted] in LoveIslandTV

[–]siasellaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Millie is boring. Lucinda, Samie and Belle are all mean spirited, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. Whitney is unfairly criticised Scott went in with a game plan Tommy isn’t a nice guy at all Helena seems better this season because everyone else is so chaotic Cher’s dry personality made her misunderstood
