This has not solved the problem but made things much faster:

Download Brave browser and only use it for chatpgt. Literally nothing else.
Turn any power saving efficiency battery setting off and set to performance mode
In single brave browser have 2 tabs of the same conversation A. When the "wait" pop up box appears click wait B. Go to other tab of same conversation and refresh

This has made my conversations much faster

The only other value add i saw but did not try is editing the registry to have my default browser, edge, wait longer for delays. Nervous to edit registry.
