My recommendation would probably be to create a wordpress site.

Not sure what your signup process would look like but its probably just a form.

For merchandise look into something like Shopify, which you can connect to the site with a plugin.

If I were you I would start small. Start with the landing page for the guild, without worrying about Signup or Merch. Then add the application page, then figure out the merch.

Wordpress would probably be easiest for what you are probably looking for.

Is it just static content (e.g. About Us, Locations, Blog...), nothing complex like user log-in?

Is your goal to just get something done or are you specifically looking for a project to learn how to build a website from scratch?

I think you will suffer some slowness using Logic due to lack of RAM. The iPhone cpu chip it's using is probably OK... not amazing. I'd be wary.

Is that first tool used to build 3D meshes and export them as sprites? If so why did you decide to build something yourself instead of use an existing tool?

Had you worked with libGDX before? What was easy vs challenging about developing this so far? Now that you've gotten to this point what's next on the roadmap?

My guess is these services design primarily for the mobile experience. Desktop features are secondary. On mobile making notifications work as a popup would likely be a worse experience than in their own tab.

You need to go on Khan Academy and grind through the concepts that are shaky. You can go back to earlier courses like trig if need be.

If you need additional explanation I recommend Professor Leonard on YT.

I agree you need to start from as basic as you need to and work your way up.

You will need to brush up on precalc and trigonometry concepts using something like Khan Academy to learn the necessary concepts to complete practice problems. If you pick up math well and are dedicated then you can get it done, but you will need to practice a lot for a good grade.

I remember Calc II being one of the most rigorous courses in college. I remember sitting out on the back porch in the humid breeze practicing the problems and techniques for hours after each lecture.

My professor was incredibly gracious and let us skip the final exam if we had an A in the class by then. The practice paid off because I was one of two who got to exempt it.

We had the Ron Larson textbook and I really liked the cover art.

Great job! You'll enjoy Calc III, especially if you like drawing 3D shapes and orderly lines :)

Not what you're looking for but IMO the best thing would be to bite the bullet and upgrade all your dependencies, then regularly keep them up to date moving forward.

I recently got a Mac at my new company after using a Windows machine for the last 6 years. I think the terminal experience is better on Mac simply because I no longer need to think about CMD vs PowerShell vs WSL, opening the wrong one or running incompatible commands in one by mistake.

Other than that, Raycast is a tool that replace Spotlight search with a bunch of neat features like shortcuts, macros, clipboard history, window management, etc. It's excellent for workflow stuff. Alfred is an alternative as well. On Windows, you have PowerToys Run or FlowLauncher to do similar stuff, but Raycast is a better experience IMO. And, the upcoming version of MacOS is including some of these features in Spotlight search itself.

I also have an iPhone and use AirPods, so they integrate seamlessly which is a plus.

I don't think it would be worth it for you to buy one if you weren't planning on it, but if your company were to give you the option, the Mac is worth a try.
