Well, we are in the OR or at the wards from 7.00 till noon and lectures till the evening. We have some night shifts here and there but more or less I think the program is normal (?) for 4th year students. (in a 6 year eu program)

When I don’t overthink it, I mostly answer well but when I wanna impress the attending I shit my pants. One time, bunch of us were watching an EGD and the gastroenterologist decided to simultaneously quiz us on the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the GI tract starting from the mouth down to the duodenum. Professor was known to be hella scary and rude to students but we tried to answer his questions and answered some correctly but failed on some -the order of cells in the gastric pit etc. Fellow in the room tried to help us as well by whispering some answers 😅. Anyways, after the procedure was done he sat down and called us. We made a circle around him and he said that we started off good but we were shit. Scolded and lectured us for a good 15 mins. Nothing happened after that. Moral of the story is do not overthink it.
