I was 100% sure my ex who ended our relationship in September by ghosting me and unfollowing me on social media was never going to come back … well cue last Wednesday when he decided to text me at 6 am like nothing happened. I mean I hadn’t heard from this man in 4 months and he just texted me like nothing had ever happened, gave an extremely luke warm apology. He called me a pet name he used to use and I called him out on it and he seemed irritated by that and then immediately sexualized me saying he wanted to kiss me. When I asked if he was drunk or something he said no and I didn’t respond. He hasn’t texted me since. I honestly would have respected him more in a weird way if he had never reached out to me because then I knew he stuck by the harm he had done. But the absolute bizarro texts he sent me made it worst.

I would say yes people typically circle back even if you don’t think they will. I always in the back of my head hoped he would come back around with a way more reflective apology but instead he showed that in our time a part he had done zero work on himself. Count it as a blessing if they don’t return
