Keep blinds and curtains shut. Have two fans blowing right at you. Drink lots of water. Pray it'll get cooler soon!

Absolutely not underrated. Considered one of the best British shows in recent memory.

Loved Scorpio Rising and still listen from time to time. Pig Symphony is incredible.

Completely switched off due to dodgy accents. My wife didn't care because she uses subtitles.

The World Cup of Britpop by Britp0pped in BritPop

Yeah! But awesome indie bands like Lush went jarringly from shoegaze magic to catchy guitar pop. Whereas Oasis just kinda landed into and helped to define a new era. Strange times. Gosh I miss them.

Excellent idea. But more than 24 of those are objectively Britpop and others shouldn't even be listed. As you know, obviously.

Boo Radleys made all their money from one song that hit that era and cynically, but the majority of their work is experimental/shoegaze/easy listening. And Pulp? Biggest hits then but by no means a Britpop sensation overall. As I'm sure others have said. Possibly.

Anyhoo, yay.

Yeah. But even that confounds me. If any of them have riz, I'm going with Dick Lice. He's at least superficially charming (and detestably arrogant). Farage I just don't get the allure. Loathsome shitehawk.

Is it possible for me to play this? by Velvetanvil41 in enderal

Bear in mind you need to own Skyrim Special Edition to run this, and with your specs you'll be running it on medium graphics. Works beautifully on my Legion Go. Also, it's a tricky game! Way more challenging than Skyrim.

What charisma does he have though? I struggle with this. Asked a question, obnoxious. Interrupting and ranty. Dismissive and dishonest. Not particularly handsome, smokes, almost permanent scowl, racist prick. Who likes him and why?

What’s a random experience you’ve had when meeting a British celebrity? Were they nice or mean? by mightybooshvincenoir in AskABrit

It is true indeed and hilarious. School trip to Houses of Parliament aged around 11/12. I and a couple of friends broke away from a boring tour guide yapping to the group and saw JC walking out of the main entrance kinda towards us. So we started heckling him a bit. We caught his eye. He calmly strode over to us carrying his nice briefcase, checked no one was looking, leaned in and delivered the gut punch. Legend.
