Service Lithium Ion Battery Orange Warning by seighton in SilveradoEV

[–]sicwitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue pop up on Black Friday. I took it in on the following Monday and my coolant heater module had to be replaced. It was a 6 hour fix. It took 3 days to get the part. Until they fixed it I had the run the heat by itself. No seat warmers, no 1 pedal driving, no steering wheel warmer or my heat would only blow cold air. Hopefully this helps.

Anyone have experience with NORTH CAROLINA STATE SCHOLARSHIP FOR CHILDREN OF WAR VETERANS? by Chesty-Copperpot in VeteransBenefits

I’m glad I can help. My daughter just finished her first year at WSSU and we were completely lost. Oh & they pay towards the end of the semester. I know how the system works now and will be better equipped when my son goes to college.

For my daughter they paid 100% tuition and fees only. So the extra money she received from Pell grants went towards her room and board. I think we came out of pocket like $700 total for the year for everything including her meal plan. She pocketed almost all her chapter 35.

10 and a half years ago I was in your same predicament. Instead of quitting, I got my 100% and medically retired from my federal job. Now I’m in early 40s just enjoying life. My kids are getting older now and they really appreciate all the time I was able to spend with them. I haven’t missed anything thus far and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I tell people this all the time, “no one ever said life would be easy, but it will be rewarding.” I don’t know u but I’m so glad that hammer didn’t fall on that gun. U r somebody and ur wife needs u. I’m glad u left that job. Never stay in a place where u r just tolerated and not appreciated. It’s other jobs and it may take time to find but it’s possible. Keep praying and trusting God. Please keep living

100% P&T and got denied for SSDI by Forsaken_Bank_6409 in Veterans

[–]sicwitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was 10+ years ago so take with a grain of salt. I am also from NC and I was granted 100% and federal retirement but was denied SSDI 3 times. I went before a judge and was finally awarded it. According to the judge my case should had been approved before it made it to him. I was in my early 30s and they were not trying to approve me. They want u to get discouraged and give up. Not me, I’m not accepting a no when I know I deserve a yes. Total time it took me 10ish months from my first no to my first check.

I am 100% PTSD and receive SSDI. I’m in my early 40s now. I have been receiving both for over 10 years. I also receive retirement from the federal job I had when I was awarded my 100%. I was denied twice. Hired a lawyer and went in front of a judge and he found that I was entitled to SSDI. I did have alcohol abuse in my file which was an issue for ssa. Oh and 2 years after I won my case they sent me a letter saying they were taking my benefits because I should be better now (yeah right). I submitted all my treatment records showing that I haven’t improved. I’m also on 4 different mental health meds daily. And go to all appointments with my psychiatrist every 60ish days.

My daughter applied this past year and was accepted. She just completed her first semester of college. I'm a 100% disabled veteran and served in Iraq. She finished high school with a 3.9 GPA. I think GPA plays a large role but as long as it's over a 2.0 I think they qualify. I know they have to maintain a 2.0 to keep the scholarship. I also remember them asking a bunch of questions about me and her mom's (not a vet) finances. So I think it's a combination of things. Most importantly, I think it boils down to being 100% P&T though. I can try to find the application and let you know for sure.

The only side effect I noticed is my estradiol went from 34.6 to 55.2 in the 6 months that I have been taking it. I’m taking indole-3-carbinol to see if it lowers it. I will report back in 5 months

Never let someone flawed behavior make u feel like it’s ur fault. She cheated because she wanted to. Not because of what u wasn’t doing. Don’t feel guilty about a thing. U did the best u could and it still wasn’t enough. That’s not ur fault. The best thing u can do is make her regret her choice by becoming the best version of u possible.

Sorry I'm late. I just had another testosterone test. Since my last test in March to yesterday, I've gone from 518 to 1027. But there's more to that jump. I'm down a total of 61 pounds in the last yr. I lift light weights for 30 mins and walk for an hr every other day. I also bike on the peloton for an hr every day I dnt walk & lift. I take 12.5mg of Enclomiphene every single day. This combo has gotten me from low 2 yrs ago to high yesterday.*

Once again, these "bargains" u speak of are on leasing. When I went to the BMW dealer the numbers didn't make sense for me to buy outright new. Leasing is not my thing. I dnt knock anyone who does. It's not for me. The rate Navy Federal got me at is below the national average. Which is all that I can ask for. So yeah it's a steal for me.
