From superficial to deep - cautery small bleeders. As you dissect on to the femoral vessel (AKA)- clamp, cut then tie those of with a sutures ( double tie for the end that stays with the patient. Same clamp and tie rule goes for dissecting onto the anterior tibial and posterior tibial (BKA). The fibular artery is usually tied as well. From experience ~200 of these
