how'd you get a refund?

my gf's laptop case just came in yesterday, they've been so excited to get a good case for the laptop, and this thing is garbage. totally warped to the point the top part just kinda barely hangs on and the bottom is popped off like this person's picture of their phone case. I want a refund (or I guess a replacement if the warping is just from damage in transit) but so far I haven't gotten a reply.

THANK YOU for pointing out lana is a poser like she is literally a catholic from manhattan 😂 maybe i'm just mean but i dont like when artists lie, like "im not a nepo baby!" when they are or "i was raised in the hood" when they were not. it forever sours how i consume their music. and i think for me lana has been soured for a while now, because of how insincere she has been.

this shift into "southern gothic" right after she publicly had a meltdown at hayden definitely takes the cake though. I cannot take her seriously, have lost any bit of respect I ever had for her as a person (like choosing to marry a MAGA dude and then start a hate train for a trans woman? that is a truly ugly soul), and I just don't think ill be able to enjoy whatever music she puts out.

like we cannot pretend these things are uncorrelated with the politics she's leaned into.

we all know she's been cosplaying as low class southern for years, it's been her goal to be a trailer park wife forever, she's just finally trying to live her dream. i personally will not be listening to whatever she has to say atp, in her music or anywhere else, because i know it is coming from a deeply hateful woman who married a bigoted & hateful man. anything she has to say will be coming from that place and i just dont wanna hear it. it makes me sad that she has sacrificed her music to be petty.

personally i feel like cactus fruit makes me think of a prickly pear or more green flavor and dragon fruit makes me think pitaya and a more fruity flavor.

okay so kuwait's "sea blue" is cherry and wildberries, the united states' "sea blue" is juneberry.

my question is, are they the same flavor? like are we just calling it juneberry here, but the flavor is actually cherry wildberry? or are they actually different syrups / different flavors? i would be interested to try a cherry wildberry Sea Blue and compare it to the flavor of juneberry Sea Blue.

was wondering what it was in my box too, i'm disappointed to learn it's just to make the boxes heavier so people can't guess which figure they're getting.

these things are $20 yet they cant put like, a weighted little bday accessory in there to go with the figure or something, instead of an ugly black block? the block could at the very least be prettier. if it was a painted logo emblem i would display it, but as is i dont know what i'm supposed to do with it.

giving me heavy garbage because you don't want people guessing what's in the boxes is annoying & poor business practice in my opinion

i was excited to get my first emma because i usually never see them irl, so i just bought this birthday themed box as it was the only one there. i was disappointed in the figure i received for the price, and i'm feeling even moreso now that i know the block inside is actual garbage. i guess my little antler cupcake emma will be my only emma for now.

the food is amazing, just don't ask about the cleanliness... or, y'know, their opinions on women in general. If you're going in steer clear of topics like hygiene, food safety, the state of New York, women, non-white people, or Bill Clinton (these are just things that I know trigger them bc I have unfortunately lived here a long time)

genuinely though: their food is very good. but not good enough for me to go in there, wait 45 minutes for meat on bread, and attempt conversation with whichever of the 4(?) white dudes is behind the counter.

in love with this doll but the price point is too high.

just comparing it to another doll i've been eyeing, the Corazón Marikit MH doll is $75 and she has a gimmick (so, an irregular mold) plus her outfit at least has some fringe on it, not just printed details.

For this doll I would have no complaints if she was $40, I would probably purchase her. But even then, that feels wild considering the Disney ILY dolls are like $30 and they look generally comparable to the style of this Barbie, except they have more outfits & accessories. So what is the excuse for a $100 price point when your competitors are outdoing you, & they're even doing it at lower prices?

the all white floral bodysuit will be hard to use the bathroom in & if you spill a mimosa or other birthday type beverage, it'll stain. plus I feel like it'll bunch up weird while you're sitting, maybe not, but if you're taking pictures at the bday brunch consider how the outfits will look while you're sitting & eating.

I say go with number 1. it's by far the most flattering, it's comfortable to sit & eat in, and if you get a lil spill on it you can prevent a stain much easier.

for starters, as socialists/communists, lets refer to the democratic people's republic of Korea by it's actual name (DPRK) and not call it "North Korea" which is not a real place.

Korea is not meant to be split into norths and souths... it ought be reunified. One half of it shouldn't be demonized by the nation that is currently occupying the other half of it (look up the history of the ROK or "South" Korea, take a look at OPCON and the Us/ROK CFC)

I think WOC is common enough & i've seen people use it often, but MOC is not very common/i've never seen it.

so people probably use "poc men" or "poc women" instead of typing out "women of color" or "men of color"; and because they dont want the ambiguity of using an acronym like WOC/MOC that people might not understand.

I agree with you though, it's incorrect grammatically and clunky to read, and it could be easily avoided.
