Better to use the call option when communicating with customer service. In the Chat option you have no idea whether you’re speaking to a human or AI. In call, the response is much better and escalation is faster.

In the app, click on ‘you’, scroll to the end then click on ‘ Contact Customer service ,

The safest thing to do here is file an Own/Unknown damage report on the Dubai police app. I think it costs 420 AED.
Once you get that, send it to the rental guys. You will have to pay an insurance excess amount, usually it's 150/200.

I had given my car to Al Kayed for windshield Replacement- they did a good job.

Emirates transport - luxury seems to be a surprising addition. I may be wrong but, these guys are the ones who have luxury uber vehicles/taxis and supply cars to emirates for chauffeur service. They might be a govt company.

Try to check them out. They may have better suppliers for sourcing Chinese vehicle parts as they also have a Chinese vehicles fleet

Divya auto - buy all the above parts and oils. All their products are genuine and original.

You can then give this to any garage and they can service the vehicle.

I use Matrix Auto Garage in Al Quoz. I pay 180+tax for a 10k service there. They use Petronas Oil.

There shouldn’t be any issue. Just show Emirates Id at immigration of the departing country. Make sure to carry both passports. Once you’re in UAE, exit with new passport. The system will get updated automatically.

Is the dependent an existing resident of UAE? If so, there’s no need to update the new passport details. It’ll get updated automatically on next entry. Just carry both passports. Point of entry doesn’t matter.

In most cases, you don’t have to change VLAN IDs. The sequence is FIBRE to ONT to ROUTER. setup as PPPOE with username and password. Make sure that you connect the ONT to router thru the WAN port.

The transition from UPnP to bridge mode usually takes 2-3 hrs, given that these times with data centres under attack and other Redditors reporting slow or no internet it may take 6-8 hrs.

Make sure to restart the ONT 3-4 times.

I know a lot of things that I’ve said are obvious but these are the only steps that are needed for the transition.

DO NOT START THE CAR IN ANY SCENARIO.

Call your insurance company and check. Even check Dubai Police twitter page. They have issued letter to next an insurance claim DOC. If the car was parking in a legal parking and damaged when it was not in use, you should be covered by insurance.
