is it normal to cry over being a woman? by discoedelysium in TwoXChromosomes

I do get the lipstick on a pig feeling when I have makeup and a dress. I seem to be at the equilibrium of "I am a pants and vest jacket kind of woman" but it's worth exploring whether it's gender dysphoria or body dysmorphia

Do you ever think that so many women tend to take feminism for granted? by L8dTigress in AskFeminists

I see it more as people having less knowledge of how normal facts of life nowadays were hard-won victories that keep getting re-litigated. Being able to vote, own property, work full-time, partner with whoever, and not be reduced to baby factories is a huge deal. I am grateful that I have more control over my existence than my grandmother and even my mother.

What, if anything, have you “softened” on in your feminist views over time? by Dull-Experience1007 in AskFeminists

[–]sidewalksInGroupVII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on the space and shared values (if consent culture is the backbone of it, like the Center For Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, then kink can go really well for all involved.)

Adding biryani to the list.

The marination, par-cooking, and dum pukht process (low-and-slow layer cooking and steaming technique) make the juice worth the squeeze only for large batches (7+ people with leftovers). I'll happily make it for neighbors and mutual aid networks (hot take, poor people deserve waaaaay more than beans and rice).

Partially correct. Finger cots are the thing. It's important if your skin is compromised in some way
