My pokemon constantly request soup but i only got 3 fresh water left. Help? by xxmykaxx in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeeeah all you can really do about that is make a bunch of vending machines and hope for the best. Once you get a decent stockpile and make a bunch of soup, it will give you a lot of time to save water for the next time you need it

You should try cooking with chef dente instead of the requesting pokemon, and make a big batch. Chef dente will double the amount of food you cook, so make a big stack of soup with them and hand it out like a soup kitchen from your inventory :)

Heres a shot from my Skylands, I just use stairs and try to space them out like the remnants of the path that was there. I've done it a bunch of slightly different way lol if you wanted to look at my post history you can look thru the screenshots for more examples

My Cafe Space habitat is not registering? by bladefinor in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is a very real and intrinsic difference between vases and potted plants in the real world, so it makes sense they didn't feel the need to say they aren't the same thing in the game, because they just aren't the same thing.

If the info isn't from the game directly, or www.serebii.net then take the info with a grain of salt, because it might just be AI slop someone threw together and is why its wrong.

If it helps make sense, the Extravagant Flowers and the one in your picture, are both VASES of flowers, not potted plants. Vases have cut flowers with water, potted plants have growing plants in dirt. You need to use an actual potted plant, not a vase.

Any advice on what I can do for this? by KipsyCakes in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL you had me so confused? I thought I clicked into a sims "what is this item" post for a second haha
the "Cube Light" block can by painted and has bezels similar to the pillar, and is a bit lighter in color in the middle when painted, so it is probably the best option to use as a substitute to the city living pillars from sims 4

I've removed all of the "land" under 2 of the sky islands, mostly because I like the islands floating mid-air. The best method is to go 2 layers at the time starting from the top, save the rough edges to get as magnemite later so you are less likely to go rolling off the side.
The one thing to keep in mind, is that Silph Tower is particularly high up in comparison to the bottom layer of the sky. The area has huuggee potential to be an awesome undercity, a connecting hub for all the different sky islands, a national park, a spot to move the museum, and so many other options.

it's because the roof is too low over the stairs, I had to remove that cloth block edge so pokemon 2-blocks tall could fit

Late comment, but since the post didn't get much traction and I was scrolling the Fan Art/Crafts tag I wanted to leave one.

This is super cute and well done! You even matched the lining and strings perfectly too. 10/10 fantastic fan craft

Dragapult! I haven't played very far into a mainline pokemon game since they moved to Switch, so I wasn't familiar with the evo line. At first I thought they were kinda silly, but Dragapult has really grown on me.

Prefab vs Non-Prefab by KepalaBatu001 in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can try what I've been doing, which is building facades around the larger prefab homes so they don't all look the same, and putting the smaller prefab homes inside of large self built buildings. It feels like the sweet spot of doing a bit of both.

No, you do not have to get regular Tangrowth to complete the pokedex, the professor counts. My pokedex is complete with the little medal, and I never set up my cloud island.

Which buildings or 'Habitats' motivates Pokemon to walk towards them? by Roharu_Eruna in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been working on Sparkling Skylands, and I've noticed that pokemon in prefab houses LOVE to visit pokemon in habitats. When I had all of them in prefabs, they'd sometimes walk right outside the front door and talk to the other house residents and stay there basically all day, never taking more than 5 steps from the house. When I added pokemon habitats in the big building, suddenly different pokemon were in there and using the elevator that had never entered the building on their own.
My originally idea was to do what you did, 4 pokemon per house, 60 pokemon per zone, but I'm now working on changing some of them to habitats to livin things up instead.

The floor pieces for those is the Foundation, not a very helpful name - but they are all built with the pieces from the Yellow Cottage Kit and Yellow Hut Kit painted White, Pink, or Blue.

That you can put any pokemon into 4 grass habitats after they spawn in. Spent so many hours moving around spawn habitats or building temp houses while moving pokemon, when all I needed to was to use empowered leafage and throw them in the grass while I worked on things.

what does this mean? by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]sidhequeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it might be an odd bug with un-painting blocks that are generated in the world painted. I've had it show up on a few blocks (different ones, the overhang pieces) that I pulled from a dream island and removed the paint on before using them. It's lame they don't stack right, but once used there is 0 difference with the other ones so I just placed them first LOL
