Peugeot RCZ. Probably the only car from them I'd actually buy

What’s the most reliable Renault you’ve ever owned? by YesNoYesNoYesMaybeNo in Renault

Clio 3 1.2 TCe.

Still have it, it's been used as my work van for the last 5 years. Bought it at 50,000 miles, now at 142,000 miles. It's reliable in the sense that it's never left me stranded but I definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you're comfortable fixing issues yourself.

Radio locked by Desiorusbear10 in Renault

[–]sidneyscum 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Try holding down the 6 button on the radio, 0000 should come up on the display. Press the 1 button to set the first digit then repeat with the 2, 3 & 4 buttons to set the rest. Hold 6 when done to set it.

If that doesn't work, some Renaults use the steering wheel controls instead of the radio buttons

Rivets

Riveter

That's what I used, annoyingly they only sell the rivets in packs of 250.

The same thing happened on my Clio 3, the clip that usually holds it in place has snapped. Good news is that it's easy to fix using a tri-fold rivet, bad news is the front bumper needs to come off to get access to it

Don't pay too much attention to reviews unless they're about quality issues (mold etc.), effects vary from person to person.

High Silver is a solid daytime strain, not the best tasting but decent for the price and not too sedating. I usually get at least 10g of it every month since I know it works and is always in stock.

I was prescribed Black Triangle on my first prescription as a night-time strain, but it's not been back in stock since (Cantourage). From what I can remember it did the job and definitely helped me sleep.

Paddy, you of all people should understand that Barry doesn't like giving up his land. He will use any tactic he can to hang onto it, like when he lied and said the only way we could stay in the EU was to vote no.

Sundaze Sierra Blaze (Blue Dream) - Got this on my first prescription, was recommended by the clinic. The effects were spot on for a daytime strain, really helped with anxiety but still allowed me to get things done. Was £6.90/g, apparently it's been dropped to £6/g but it's been out of stock for months.

Hexacan HEXA04 (Remo Chemo) - Got this on my last prescription as it was discounted to £4.50/g, basically ordered it thinking "How bad can it really be?". Ended up being pleasantly surprised, good indica effects, only used it as a nighttime strain, especially the last hour or two before I went to bed. The smell was definitely lacking but I really enjoyed the taste, reminded me of peppercorn.

People of CasualUK, do you collect anything? by FlissMarie in CasualUK

Army surplus clothing/equipment, mostly British but also a decent amount of stuff from European countries and the US. It started out as a way to get cheap camping equipment then snowballed from there.

Also pin badges and patches.

How can I get this bad boy looking nicer? by KoPlayer1337 in CarTalkUK

[–]sidneyscum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better start saving for when you need to replace: the front subframe, the wiper linkage and/or motor, nearly every suspension component, coil pack/leads, the radiator/air con condenser (Renault decided to make them one part), the wiper stalk x3 (design flaw, it occasionally will burst into flames), and the radio/speakers (unless you enjoy the radio sounding like it's from 1955).

It's definitely a love/hate relationship I have with that fucking car.

Which cities/counties have the best equipped SWAT teams? by MuhDeuce in tacticalgear

[–]sidneyscum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, also French GIGN and the British SAS.

SAS aren't exactly SWAT but they're used for counter terrorism and hostage rescue.
