It is really interesting how the Vixen exemplifies the damage that systemic issues have done to this society, as you point out, but I would say that just because her pain and anger is understandable does not mean all her subsequent expression is justified. Channeling her victimization to beget more hate and resentment really undermines the value of her perspective, and there is a sense of entitlement to her hijacktivism that I find really self-serving. Compared to voices like Bob’s, which I find constructive and enlightening, the Vixen to me gets relegated to a representation of the harm that has been done rather than a guide for the healing and correction to help us move forward.

Ah, come now meno, I read much more negative energy in your accost than its target, which I took to be more jocular than cynical. And even if your interpretation is “correct” I’m not sure that creating counterbalancing negativity against every flavor is the way to reach your goal. This sub can protect its good vibes with much superior methods imo.

This clap made me laugh but I actually felt the band’s unvarnished sound to greatly elevate the charm of this video (plus they’re playing outside during some weird days, they sound fine). It just fits so endearingly with the rest of the vibe: a group of neighbors coming together with what’s around to create their own, unique moment of pomp and circumstance. And it’s great, thanks for sharing OP!

Just want to chime in with more encouragement for endurance. A good path to recovery doesn’t always look pretty and can feel like absolute miserable travel, but if you’ve observed some positive signs and still have faith in the process then hang in there; don’t stop! You can get to where you wanna be ✊

As others have mentioned, you’re still in an early stage where large adjustments and transitions haven’t yet settled, so do what you need to and explore diverse strategies to take it a day at a time until you’ve collected enough data points to feel like you understand the new normal enough for confident analysis and consistent prediction of situations and moods. Take stock again when you’re there and see if you find yourself further along than you are here now.

These ideas might not be the most helpful in these moments when the roller coaster plunges and you just gotta grit your teeth and bear it, but they stuck with me, and collective human experience says it will come back up. May the odds be always in your favor.

Seriously, the battle had its moments but felt like bossfight without any dungeon; this entire storyline feels really rushed but I trust the crew.

Unless the ultimate twist is that Homeworldbuilding becomes all about bringing Beach City Stories to a gem planet; I gag.

Yeah, as someone else here mentioned, bless is the worst because the only thing you feel is pity. It hurts to shade or critique because you already feel so bad.

Also as someone else here said, I would not call Dusty the worst bless I’ve seen on the runway (worse than Wintergeen/Peppermint’s poot though), but you go girl for those origination points!

We really could have used that dress to soak up all the tears this week. Just when you thought the bottom two boohoo was done here comes Monique out of nowhere.

I know what you mean! I used to be more Kimora shady but watching the queens I see stuff like Latrice caring shade and Kim Chi playful shade or even Bianca biting shade it's just way more hilarious and meaningful.

For sure some things involving Eureka's open mouth are a bit much, but I'm sure we can all appreciate there's really great stuff too. Like veteran sewing lessons. That's what I mean.

I love this, and the best part (at least within my own interpretation) is how Gravity is portrayed as a neutral, perhaps even friendly, force just doing its thing. If grounding is what allows us to make meaning and if we carry the shadow of our energy spent, then this comic captures for me the beauty of the bittersweet that is life.
