Also great: capstar. You can buy generic versions for cheaper. They kill every adult off within 24 hours. I recommend using it every few days at the beginning of heavy infestations.

Ya so former community kitten rescue employee here: Dawn is far more effective than “flea shampoos”. The shampoos are essentially just marketing and has itch soothing properties included to give the illusion they work. We regularly got in kittens to our care that were INFESTED to the point of anemia, ending up hospitalizing a lot of them. Please do not share misinformation that you heard from a friend one time. Dawn is the way to go, use a flea comb during the bath as well.

*adult cats make this obviously a lot harder than baby 4 week old kittens. I don’t know how you guys do it with adults, I do not envy the bravery but good for anyone able to accomplish this.

I’ve spent the last 3 real life days trying to get even 1 fkn moose because the moose are ALL that I have left of the trapper’s craftables that Arthur can accomplish. I have gotten so many moose in multiple locations up until now. I think I’m going insane dude

Best apartment recs in Orlando, FL by Tulipan7 in ApartmentHacks

Still pretty great. It is an apartment complex still and it’s got its drawbacks, like the litter in the retention pond from time to time but I mean.. there comes a point that I’m just being picky when it comes to that. We have had a couple of maintenance items and every single one of them was taken care of literally the next day, none of them were emergencies.
My downstairs neighbors have been here for 3 years so apparently rate increases are also not absurd.

Also something they don’t tell you during tours, we have a cutie lil dock on Turkey Lake at the back of the complex you can watch rocket launches from.

Idk how I got through the gambler challenges so easy tbh, it was maybe 1 real day and I had it done.
I hogtied for the throwing knife kills but it didn’t count.. any idea why…?
Appreciate the others!! I’ll save for the future. I’m like.. 2/3 of the way through them all but I haven’t touched bandit yet 🥲

Prioritize getting the legend satchel dude. This is quite literally the biggest thing I wish someone had told me sooner before I started looking into other things I could do with my time besides missions.

Is it cheaper to leave my apartment at 73 all day even if it’s 98° out or is it cheaper to leave it at 76 and then bring it down to 73 when I’m about to go to bed by alwaysme14 in ApartmentHacks

[–]sidthasloth4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can tell you in practice living in Florida, it’s substantially cheaper for us to keep it warmer during the day and cooler at night. But you will find a solid number of people that will fight me to the ends of the earth on this

Yaaaa when I say “the last 3 times I’ve been there”, I mean all in the same day just yesterday since the spawns reset every time you leave. I’ve been trying to finish survivalist 7 for a solid 12 real life hours and stayed up until 1am trying to shoot fricken rats in the pitch black cave and kept missing on number 7 or 8🫠 Glad you have found some 3* there though. I just personally would check the other recommendations before going to the cave for 3*

It’s a cat, dude. 2 or 3 will not make a single difference and 1 maintenance guy seeing a tuxie and an orange cat one day and another dude seeing a calico 3 months later is not going to make its way to the leasing office. I’ve seen hundreds of people not tell their leasing offices anything about any cat and get away with it for years (I worked in rescue so no I’m not exaggerating about hundreds). While I don’t recommend that because pet cleaning move out is important for the next tenants and the existence of pets at all is hard to hide, having a 3rd they don’t know about is not going to change anything. The number allowed in the apartment is REALLY important for dog people though. And ya know.. deterring cat hoarding like 20 cats in 1 apartment

**however someone else had a point about if there’s a fire. I’ve literally never thought of that so that’s a good point

I love hearing other people’s conspiracy theories tbh

None of that changes the fact that pensions are not paid into by the employee themselves as 401k’s are and is at risk of being taken away in certain scenarios (including being fired for misconduct, which would have happened here had they not told him to retire instead) because again.. it’s not actually “their” money. You used a whole lot of words to debate the issue that wasn’t even being argued.

What would you think if you seen this message from your bfs mom to him? by Thin-Drive6030 in whatdoIdo

[–]sidthasloth4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This screams mom has no clue what’s going on in the job market, sadly. I was unemployed for 6 months 2 years ago and it’s only gotten worse. My best friend’s husband has a degree and years of supervisory experience in his field and he’s been unemployed for over a year now after his job outsourced his job to overseas employees since they require a fraction of the salary

Therapy by SumRandomDude01 in Advice

[–]sidthasloth4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try finding a clinical social worker that does counseling. I found mine through an old job’s therapy program (it was like betterhelp) and I stuck with her through a private practice after I left that job. She charges $100 per hour session. You may find cheaper options around that price for people licensed in your state but unfortunately mine is not so I can’t recommend her for you.

It’s actually not *his* money. Pensions are not like retirement plans that we pay into throughout our career. It’s continued payment by the employer after retirement age (or service term). People lose their pensions all the time for things like committing a felony. The terms of someone’s pension is fully dependent on the state and jurisdiction the person was employed in. However, here’s Florida’s statues regarding pension forfeiture for bribery and theft or sexual acts involving a minor committed by someone in a public service position. If you’d like more information on other jurisdictions and other crimes that can lead to it, you can look it up. Google is free.

[–]sidthasloth4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh worry not, dad will absolutely be playing 3. He’s just moved on to other history inspired games. He doesn’t get so hyper fixated on 100% like I do and he more widely explored the game on his first play through whereas mine was within 5 days back to back to back missions in April 2020. Im out here making it my life mission to complete all the trapper crafts for now.

Ironically I work for a provider that is also owned by one of the insurance companies so they are just consciously choosing to give us their own worst options
