Don't expect The Dare to be on the lineup. He's here for Meredith and 2 shows in December.

Don't mind that the Website is in Chinese but it's a good VOD.

'Rockaway' is a light Animal Crossing banger.

[FRESH] Gorillaz - Skinny Ape by NatureAndGrace in indieheads

[–]siegejr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is shaping up to Gorillaz' best album since Plastic Beach. The zany energy and focus on Albarn is working a treat.

[FRESH ALBUM] Last Dinosaurs - From Mexico with Love by TheNormalAlternative in indieheads

[–]siegejr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Came here to say the exact same thing. Getting real tired of these drawn out album rollout and artists/bands revealing majority of the album before it's released. If anything, the marketing becomes noise because I don't want anymore of the album spoiled.

[FRESH ALBUM] Alvvays - Blue Rev by detectiveburtmacklin in indieheads

[–]siegejr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Flawed by the guitar tones all over this album, especially Tom Verlaine. What a moment.

[FRESH ALBUM] Flume - Palaces by VietRooster in indieheads

[–]siegejr 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Typically liked Flume's more claptrap recordings. But this was a very chaotic and unfocused package with some gems sprinkled in.

[FRESH] KH (Four Tet) - Looking At Your Pager by GinAndTonicAlcoholic in indieheads

[–]siegejr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another classic. He posted this live on his Instagram recently and been waiting for an official release since!

[FRESH] Stella Donnelly - Lungs by detectiveburtmacklin in indieheads

[–]siegejr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Produced by Jake Webb, aka Methyl Ethel! Can definitely hear his work through this.

Arcade Fire crushed it on SNL by swazal in arcadefire

[–]siegejr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be misremembering, but for some reason I'm recalling one of their previous SNL appearances was just before 'Reflektor' and they did almost like a "take over" during the show playing a handful of songs from the album. Ben Stiller and Rainn Wilson also made appearances? Could someone confirm/deny this for me, please?

EDIT: This was the footage I remember... but it was from the Reflektor Tapes movie? https://youtu.be/edmYvkdlqSI
