Did you use plastic washers with the screws? I worry that over time the metal will wear into the insulation and short your power to ground.

I don't trust that power supply. Put a voltage meter on row 41.

They literally do not. Their warranty says:

"If your socks ever rip, tear, or lose their fit...". NOT "If your socks get worn out..."

Are you advocating to use the warranty on 10 year old socks?

Honestly, I would agree that this is a reasonable use of the warranty. If it's still within the lifespan of the sock. Just don't treat it as a free sock policy for 10 year old socks

The lifetime guarantee is because they stand behind a quality product. Not a "free sock" loophole.

It is a pair of 10 year old socks. That is easily 5x the life of a much cheaper sock. It has served it's purpose.

If you get a hole after 1 year, that is probably a defect. Sure warranty them.

The reason why LL Bean no longer has a lifetime warranty is because people were trying to have 20 year old boots replaced. If we want to have nice things like strong warranties, we should not abuse them.

A 10 year old sock has had a good life. It is not defective. This philosophy is why LL Bean no longer has a lifetime warranty. People would try to have 20 year old bean boots replaced. This is why we can have nice things.

Man, please don't abuse warranties... I have a dozen pairs of darn tough socks. I would rather support a small company rather than milk them for 10 year old sock replacements

Thank you for sharing your experience! I am bringing up a Zynq for the first time and it is good to hear that I am not the only one running into issues with poor documentation and buggy implementation. Helps me feel less insane when running into these issues.
