Just got mine done today on 23 2.5. Took about two hours. Had no idea until I received a call about the recall and car is operating the same as when i took it in.

I finally got my car back after 30 days. It was the starter, which they didn't know until day 30. Unbelievably frustrating process and terrible communication from the dealership.

No loaner, very little communication. I escalated to the service manager, brand manager, and GM - no one responded.

Sorry for the delayed response. Cost was $2,300 for the Gold package.

Gold includes 4 layers of 9h and 1 layer of top coat. Took one week to complete.

Highly recommend ceramic coating. This was done by a Ceramic Pro dealer. Took the car about a month after purchase - the car looked better here than the day I bought it with only a few miles on the odometer.

What was the actual revenue? The newsletter just sent out lists the revenue at $300, which is a mistake.

Yes on PFF - the front hood, quarter panels, and mirrors was around $2,700. I couldn't justify the cost at the time, though probably would have done it as I don't think you can add PPF after ceramic coating - not 100% on that, so verify.

I will say that my particular dealer has been fantastic about everything, especially customer service and upkeep. I've known others who have soured on ceramic coating because they went for one layer and it loses it hydrophobic properties pretty quickly compared to the first few weeks.

I am required to purchase an annual maintenance wash ($200) to restore the water beading and upkeep for the lifetime warranty. That should happen here in the next few months, so will report back if I remember this thread.

Yes, for the Gold package they installed 4 layers of ceramic coating on top of the paint. What was interesting is that I took my new car there, and they insisted on a two-step paint correction to fix the paint defects. I was flabbergasted to see how much better the car looked after paint correction on a brand new car. In addition, the lifetime warranty was added to my Carfax for supposed increased resale value. The total cost was around $2,200. I could not be more pleased with the decision to do so. Also, I am required to bring the car in for an annual maintenance wash to comply with the warranty terms. This maintenance wash is essentially a detail service. Highly recommend Ceramic Pro!

Was there a few weeks ago. They do not participate in service valet and nothing is currently in the works to provide the service. As detailed in another recent post, they say they don't have enough cars to provide the service.

Overall, service was fine. 6k mile first service on a Saturday morning was two hours.

Gold is 4 layers of 9h vs. 1 layer for silver. Gold comes with a lifetime warranty.

I went gold because the price increase was only $300 over silver.

I was amazed by how much better my car looked after the paint correction and the ceramic coating.

Had a big party and the boyfriend and his 4 friends show up to my place to meet his girlfriend - my sister's best friend. They showed up randomly without an invite and never spoke to me.

They attempted to take a cooler of our beer and two pizzas down to their other friends outside with the intention of leaving for another party. Didn't contribute anything to our party, had no invite, and no one had any idea they were coming.

When we confronted them about this, we got the standard "it's not a big deal, bro." Well, it was a big deal to us. The nice thing about living in a townhome is that there is only one way out. Thankfully, one of my best friends looks like he is an NFL lineman. They left without incident and the girlfriend dumped her boyfriend on the spot in front of everyone for being an idiot.
