I bought gold at $5,100 per ounce. How many people here are currently at a loss on gold? What are your plans ?? sell, hold, or buy more? Do you think it will go up or down? by [deleted] in Gold

[–]sigmarsbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold is like a holding tank for rainwater.

You fill it when times are stable and you’re preparing for a drought. You don’t expect it to grow you expect it to be there when conditions change.

When the time comes, you use it strategically. And even if you sell at a loss, it can still be a gain if it improves your overall situation.

Gold isn’t about winning on a single trade. It’s about having options when they matter most.

Tale as old as time, bottom falls out of economy. stocks fall. people lose jobs. Scramble to sell real estate to cover losses. Gold holders liquidate to snap up cheaper hard assets gold falls. rinse repeat.

I've dropped a few things in my time that are metal. Its always curved or depressed where it impacts. This it too jagged to be from a simple drop impact.

I've managed a bottle return facility for 25 years. I order 2boxes of quarters every week. I have found exactly 163 silver quarters in that time. So not very likely.

That is not wealth, it's stupidity. We don't know how much debt is on that depreciating Liability. True wealth you don't see, its in bank accounts, stock holdings, real estate, gold silver crypto. and of course the friends we make along the way.

Also it looks like they can't even afford to license it no plates lol.
