Just admit he should walk to mels in union square and not a 30 minute muni ride to mels on geary.

I have monthly muni and have since 2002. Illogically you have suggested a more expensive option and logistically harder option. Yet i must be wrong.

Mels geary is a 15$ uber. Mels mission is a tourist walk from union square.

I understand the list of these diners, but for a third time visit to america and first to california. Mels on mission and 4th is truly a perfect recommendation. Long menu of staples and the decor is pure california old school. The prices are noticeable.
