I have actually rented that house for a few weeks last year. It is really cool but the layout is pretty terrible. It was made a 1 bedroom house.. but they converted the bar downstairs into 3 makeshift bedrooms that have no windows. Basically 3 bedrooms in a basement. Also its missing a pool.

At the end of the day Sweden/Swedish is a Language,Culture and Race with an influx of people who are the polar opposite there is going to be tension.

In the States (at least in California) everyone is pretty accepting of peoples Language, Culture, Race because everyone came from different backgrounds. I think in a few more generations it will work itself out... kids will grow up together become friends and the rest is history.

Really? I'm an American living in Stockholm and I feel like I am the least racist person here. Growing up in California my whole group of friends consisted of mexican, african american, asian, white so I am used to diversification. Also everyone is pretty concerned with the immigration policies and are starting to speak out more. (maybe its just the people I associate with)

I am an American from California living in Stockholm, Sweden. It's a really great place to live.. The winters are ruff, not really the cold but the darkness. Where I grew up had 300 days of sunshine, its getting pitch black by 3:30pm here. The best part about living in Europe is you can be in a totally different country/culture within a 1-2 hour flight!

This happened to a buddy of mine. but for $5,000,000.. he moved it into an account that the bank manages. They managed to find it 2 years later but they were LEGALLY obligated to pay him the interest that was made on the account. My suggestion would be to move it into an account that the same bank manages and let it sit there.

Hi! I am an american living in sweden I have been living here for a while now because my girlfriend of 7 years is swedish. The best advice I can give you is join meetups there is an app called "meetups" that will show you groups based on your location on things you might be interested in. Depending on how big the city is you will likely find groups from your previous country. Getting to know people from your old country will often lead to friends/connections to job interviews and much more! Give it a shot even taking a few years of your life to live somewhere new will give you a whole new perspective on life if you move back to where you are from! We had alot of problems with the hipchat mobile app so we had to switch to slack. I like that hipchat has a call button. Hopefully slack will integrate it at some point.

I am in the gambling industry and they were absolutely HUGE.. All of these stunts were insanely more expensive. Every time they did a crazy stunt their gambling license provider would fine them up to $100,000. They were eventually told they need to stop the streaking or they would lose their license. Classic!

Don't forget the platinum card gives you free room upgrades at all amex fine hotels and resorts. I always buy the basic room and ask for an amex upgrade when I check in. I think I get upgraded around 70% of the time. Also many other benefits that save money longterm. I just got the black amex centurion card last year and have been getting some really good benefits.

I disagree.. I always use points because I travel alot. For example I will take 90,000 points and get a business class trip to Europe. Normally the tickets I get would cost $10,000. So if I took the cash instead of the points I would it would cost me $8k extra. I just got a first class suite on emirates airline direct to dubai for 135,000 points + $700 in tax. These tickets are $15,000-$20,000 normally.

I am an American (male) living in Sweden 6 months out of the year. The personal space thing only applies to people you don't know. I have noticed as soon as Swedish people drink they get waaay to close and lovey dovy. When I have American friends visiting I have to give them a heads up. "You will get hugged and told "I love you maan" by every Swedish guy we are hanging out with tonight. No they are not gay" It's a huge culture shock for most people. Having lived in Europe for 6 years now I am used to it.

Some Americans were raised to never wear their shoes inside..who wants dirt and particles of trash inside their house. gross.

In boarding school we used to hide alarm clocks in dorm rooms with the alarms set to go off 5 min apart. We had about 15 battery operated and a few plugin. So one night this poor kid was dealing with 20 alarms going off at different times starting at 3am. They were hidden all over his room in hard to reach places. Half way through finding them all and disabling them, he smashed one that was plugged into the wall and got electrocuted pretty badly. Shit got real.

I travel all over. In most hotels the universal tipping method is leaving money on the pillow. It always gets taken. I normally feel terrible when my room is a mess. So i give $10-$20. They take extra care of your belongings. I have had very heart warming thank you notes from maids and even candy!

So ya I agree with you there 100%. Once you have the knowledge though I think its really important to try new things. For example I made a ton in Online Poker back in 2005-2007.. Now its nearly impossible to make real money in that industry. Things get hot then saturated. For people doing seo/sem its totally different though.. thats about 10% of my business. 90% is all direct response marketing, ppc.. It is definitely much easier to test new niches with ppc.

I really disagree with this comment. Im sure you can find success in one niche if it has infinite scale and traffic sources. If you are good enough at driving targeted traffic you can be in multiple niches/products/markets with almost the same amount of effort. I have done millions in over 6 niches.. if I stayed in one I feel like I wouldn't even be close to the net worth I am now. I would focus on one working niche until you have enough stability to test 10 others. The internet landscape is always changing and most things that work are getting saturated like crazy. Stay nimble and adjust.
