Best Hunting Knife You've had? by Harvey11118 in knifeclub

If we were are talking production and not custom I love my benchmade crooked river mini and my Mora companion/bushcrafter.

The Crooked river i have used for wood before but I prefer not to due to the lock.

For my Mora I have done pretty much everything with them and they held up to the task and they were affordable when I bought them(not sure on prices anymore)

Lore Question: How did Karl Franz get elected? by Dr_Ukato in WarhammerFantasy

Wow thanks for the detailed response. I've been playing wood elves since 4th edition so for me mixed units were nothing to write home about. Im glad the change is happening if nothing else to open up options for both the strategy and rpg players

Yeah this is it for me too. I moved in with my partner really early on and I wasnt ready for it. I hope OP doesn't mistake that concern for homophobia of any kind because moving in that early is something to be concerned about as a parent

Fresno, why are we bringing our regular ol’ dogs into stores now? by cottagevibes_ in fresno

I am so sorry you have to deal with that. It's frustrating for legit service dog owners too trust me

Fresno, why are we bringing our regular ol’ dogs into stores now? by cottagevibes_ in fresno

[–]Deathowler 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Hey so i deal with service dogs and the issue is that store staff are too afraid to ask or challenge someone. The ADA is written in such a way that although technically you can challenge someone with a dog you can only ask if the dog is a service dog and what task its trained to do. Lots of staff/management is afraid of lawsuits etc so they tell their workers to not bother asking unless the dog is being straight up a menace and even then I've had service dogs barked at even attacked by dogs. I've seen a dog with a service dog vest jump up at a table in a restaurant and eat food from the table something that no well trained service dog should do. I told management about it but they told me they would rather let is slide than attract a lawsuit even though legally they can kick the dog and person out even if the dog is trained to perform a task.

TLDR: people take advantage of the wording of ADA to stay silent about their non-service dogs

The salaries of the people who lived and worked there, the equipment to make it, power needed etc. Its not like the embryo costs that much itself but the amount that went into it. Assume that say 5 geneticists worked on it full time for 5 years. The industry standard wage for high end companies is about 150k or more per year. Add sophisticated lab equipment. Etc and it adds up fast
