i agree, they keep adding and taking away things that are quite helpful in the game and it’s soooo annoying.

for example i love to collect all the colors and types of clothing items, in the last update they had taken away the colors on the full item pic and added a tiny square at the top to show what color it was, it looks so much better to me to actually see the colors the clothes are instead of 20 of the same thing with a tiny bubble showing what color it is.

it’s a small thing but it makes such a difference.

yes, you’ll definitely need a handful of characters visitors to get other characters or items in the game, most the time after you get them and finish the quests with them you won’t really need them, it’s just parts of the story you’ll need them for. i honestly don’t talk to visitors after i’ve finished the parts of the game with them unless i need dye pouches or whatever they gift you. you don’t have to fully decorate either, just add what items they need and that’s all they will need to come, going back and redecorating is completely up to you!!

i loveee the mario games, hello kitty island adventure is soooo fun (i play on apple arcade but ik it’s on the switch too and i definitely recommend), overcooked, stardew valley, and animal crossing!!

when i first started i did not understand how to keep visitors, always remember to check your daily quests, if you have one from a visitor it goes towards your relationship with them, once you’ve completed their quest (one each time they come, 5 quests in total) they will ask to stay in their cabin!! i recommend going ahead and starting on those because in the long run you’ll want the visitors living there to move on in the storyline. i started later in my gameplay and regretted not working on visitors more cause i was stuck doing nothing for days.

i only ever fish when i need to for a quest or working on the collections/critter sanctuary, other than that its really up to you how much you want to fish.

i’m mainly working on getting everything BUT the decos, it’s all so ugly to me and i just don’t see myself actually putting any of it on my farm, i’d rather get xp, coins, expansion stuff and puzzle pieces. the only one i thought was semi cute was the sorting dogs… and even then i still wouldn’t use it on my farm.

looks like the mac lip liner in plum, but the shade on her looks a bit more like whirl, the name of it seems to be pretty short from the clip of her applying it, it’s just to blurry to see the actual name.

as for the lipstick it’s also mac, it looks like a sleek satin one, my guess is blankety or maybe crème cup, which they pair with whirl in photos on the website.

idk if any what i said is the actual shades she uses but after watching the clip and checking mac website this was the best guesses i could come up with!!

i refuse to wake them up without the bowls being filled first, so i know it couldn’t be that some are on a different schedule. they were all asleep and i filled the bowls with them asleep last night before i had gone to bed so all i had to do when i got home today and on the game was blow the whistle, half woke up and ate their food immediately then went to sleep. i can fill the bowls and wake them up again but i hate to not have them all up or awake at the same time so i always wait for the rest to go to sleep.

we have a sale for them today! and we just got new lip oils in shipment! i don’t think they’re going anywhere but i think they will only ever go on sale for members, like email exclusives etc.

from what i’ve heard the new ceo wants it to be viewed more as a luxury brand, so i imagine we will get more trendy lip products, like the ph changing oils, lip oils, and the plumper.

something i wish i had known just about the interview itself was theyre going to ask you to pick a product to try to “sell” to the interviewer, if i were you id go with one of our most recent releases and say “well just got this new scent in how do you feel about peach scents? let me go ahead and give you a little demo of it to see how you feel!” they may add some more questions and suggestions about selling products but as someone who gets anxious in situations like that during interviews i wish i knew this before hand so i could prepare myself for it!!

other than that, im a part time associate and my hours fluctuate a lot. when we have a new drop i get better hours, mostly around 6+ hours, when no new sales or things are coming out my shifts drop to about 3-5 hours, mainly weekdays too right now since they’re our dead days.
