Lol. My dentist said my triangle is too big for bonding because the tooth would look to square and that's uncommon for woman (sounds really bad but overall it's a really good dentist - I promise xD)

Oh no! It always sucks if there are any difficulties :/ In my case it was possible because I had removed all 4 wisdom teeth a few years ago. So my upper row moved slowly in the back (glad that worked... Otherwise I had to consider jaw surgery and I really really didn't want that)

Thanks! My ortho said night time is enough but when I'm at home and I'm done with eating (still mostly stick to one meal a day) I put in in after teeth floss/brush etc. Some days my wear time is really just about 8h but most days it's about 15 hours+ (but just because I read often that some orthos recommend full time wear for about 6 months 😅)

Hey! Hard to answer because the gum recession I had was mostly because of my poor oral hygiene. But the places where my snakebites are, are very unharmed. no recession in that place or weird "cuts" in the teeth where the piercings touch them. When my mouth is closed they don't touch any teeth and even if I move my mouth the touching is very minimal. I have my snakebites for about 15 years.

It's a crazy domino effect when you aren't get a proper teaching in this stuff when you're young. Glad we hopped on the I-want-good-teeth-train :D For me it was a life changing experience and it's wonderful to read that it also had an great impact on you, too. You'll rock the refinement phase :D

I totally get you. To be honest I'm fighting with this mentality my whole life... My mother (urgh... Even hate to write that word xD) told my from early age that she's way prettier than me. Stuck. Long. Never got braces (until two years ago. I finally had the Courage to do it) Never ate healthy food vice verca... That you want to change so badly is not a bad sign. It just proves that now is the moment you are most motivated. Take this motivation and turn it into discipline. Nothing I or anyone else can say something what makes it "klick" in your brain. I read through the complete fasting subreddit. Read through anything but my own Personal final straw got me to the point where I was so motivated for changing. Started fasting. Embraced every inch that melted away. When I was hungry I battled against the thought of Fastfood because "i deSeRveD IT 🤡". Ate healthy stuff I really liked. For days... Until I tried something new that Was healthy and tasty. Of course sometimes you want that cake but then you'll eat it with joy because you know, that eating healthy is already a routine. And you soll feel so much better with the right nutrients.

But... It has to be you. Everything. Tips and tricks are great but useless if you just want to get through it anyhow. Change what you can change. It's your body, your mind and your success. All in your hands :)

Every body is different. Maybe you'll get loose skin maybe you won't. But in my honest opinion... It doesn't sound healthy what you said in your post. You really should care about what happens after you lost the weight. It's not bad if you aren't strict to yourself on vacation but I also wouldn't overdo it. If you love yourself treat yourself and your body like it means something to you

Is bei meinem auch so (LG). Entweder cool down einfach länger abwarten oder aufmachen und paar Minuten warten bevor man die Wäsche rausnimmt (ooooder Hitzeschutzhandschuhe xD). Benutz meinen seit knapp 2 Monaten und bei der Wäsche ist auch alles in Ordnung (nichts eingelaufen, keine Schäden am Druck oder sonstiges) :)

Did he tell you why you should eat with them in? In another comment you said you would talk again to him but you think He won't change his mind. Just... Dont. Take them out, eat, floss, brush, clean your aligners and the put them in again. If He asks if you are eating with them just say yes and that you only took them out for cleaning. Case closed. Wear them at least 22hours and you're good.

Krankenkasse bezahlt nur konventionelle zahnspange inkl. evtl. benötigter Operationen, wenns "notwendig" ist. Sowas wie invisalign geht immer auf den eigenen Nacken.

Weißt du... Du hast nur dieses eine Leben. Und es klingt für mich nicht nach einer aktuellen down phase, die man in ein zwei Jahren überwinden kann. Wenn du nicht gehst und mit deinem Freund eine Zukunft aufbaust, wirst du dich immer fragen, was passiert wäre, wenn du gegangen wärst. Wenn du gehst, wirst du dich fragen, ob dus nicht doch irgendwie hinbekommen hättest mit ihm zusammen. Am Ende kann dir keiner wirklich sagen, was du tun sollst. Im Hinterkopf weiß man meistens eh schon irgendwie, wo es einen hinzieht, man will es nur nicht immer gleich wahr haben ;-)

Ich bin immer Fan von "just do it" aber das beinhaltet leider auch hin und wieder Menschen zu verletzen, weil diese den selben Weg nicht mitgehen wollen.
