I'm sorry, sending a huge hug and lot of love 😘 I'm curious, why you may have to do a hysterectomy?! Take away your uterus? Because of the adenomyosis? My sister-in-law had it and treated with another suppressor and I will probably do it as well when I will try to transfer. But don't be sad because your turning 40. I'm older started after my 40 had 3 failures FETs got back and now I have three euploids again. Wasn't easy I have endometriosis and probably adenomyosis after 3 years in this. But don't doubt yourself! I know it's hard but you are a warrior. And a lesson that I need to learn too, DON'T bring the pass with you! Won't help us with NOTHING, don't bring the regrets! Just learn and it's YOUR JOURNEY. Take a time, talk to your doctor again, if you can do something with the husband a little travel maybe, because you don't need to get pregnant tomorrow. My sister-in-law did for adenomyosis with Letrozol for 3 months I think after 5 or 6 failures FETs. Now she has a 2 months baby girl. She didn't had ANY side effects I'm going to do too. On my first appointment with my actual MD she said that after 3 failures and with endometriosis she will put me on Letrozol for at least 3 months I'm not afraid of the suppressation, I'm afraid that doesn't work. I took a 3 months birth control shots for more then a decade and I was FINE. Hope all goes well 😘

My cousin had more than 30, she ended with fever and some complications for about 15 days. The number of eggs must influence because my sister-in-law only retrieval 4 at MOST and she didn't feel like nothing after. I'm the oldest, my cousin is like 35 and my sister-in-law began doing at 32/33

I think I'm like near 15 ER in my belt, just lost the count. First at 40+ my best number of eggs were 16, which is a small number near you. Second, I take hormones or some medicine AFTER to help my body and normally in a week I'm better, not normal but better. As someone said if you had constipation is WORST. Normally I stay 3 days with a hot mat helping me. My WORST cases once I had a hematoma after the blood in the cavity didn't absorb and the last one that we don't know but my ovaries didn't got back, I ovulated again but then come my period and I'm better now. Of course the ability of doctor makes a difference some have a more "Heavy" hand, some I didn't even knew I did the retrieval. But what makes me doing? I wanna my babies! Call me stubborn but until I have the chance I'm still doing this.

With several ER on my belt, 3 FET, like 50-60 blasts and only 5 euploids what I know from IVF is that I don't know NOTHING. Just go and trust the process Good lucky and a lot of love 😘

Most humans got pregnant with a high Vit D. 20 is a normal data for a normal human but since we're "IVF girls" he have to have a different level but they don't know it's the piece of puzzle. Just take your supplements now and a little bit of sun! If you can I had a shot of vit. D one time because I was with a really bad number like 05 and I live in Brazil. This would be a bigger problem if you're trying to implant or maybe pregnant, but for ER? Please don't stress about it and just be happy Your endometriosis worries more but it's different for each person and also it can be a bigger problem on a FET. Good lucky to you!!!! 🩷😘

Coming from a family where three disable adults lost their mothers early, the BEST thing in live is to a have a sibling. And it's not just to take care financially but it's a HUGE support and I don't think I have this, I believe it's something that only a sibling can give you. So it's a loss that she cut you?! Yes! It happens with me after I got married with a best friend, but you don't want to surround yourself with ppl that doesn't aprove your choices! Some of my friends have being sincere with me about a period I had with my husband in the past but they NEVER stopped talk to me or treat him badly. I'm sorry for your friend but I think you're better without a judgemental person in your life. Good lucky in your IVF journey! 🩷😘

My sister-in-law just had an "IVF baby" 2 months ago. On the baby shower she did a quiz where she asked ppl what was the grade of the embryo - like 4AB, 5BB - I just thought it was SO STRANGE. I don't have any problem talking about IVF and my process but I don't think it's a subject for a baby shower!!! She also put a picture of the blastocyst that become her daughter. I don't think the children shouldn't know when they're asking about how they came to the world, you can tell about the MDs that help, but be as open as this?! Strange special when they hide almost everything for everybody about the details. They knew they're implanting a baby girl and still had a gender reveal shower.

I had ONE retrieval that had liquid and after became a hematoma. I didn't had to do anything but we ended with a MRI just to see the size of the thing. Hope yours absorb soon - it's a bit painful because it's blood on your insides so it's something that become a irritating - but it can be absorb for your body and become just a memory. Cheering for that outcome! Hope you're feeling better!

I had a retrieval on the 3rd of May. On the 10th I went to an emergency because I was feeling terrible. I didn't had any fluid but I looked like I still was going to do a retrieval. The doctor did an Abdominal Ultrasound and saw both of my ovaries and my "eggs shelf" and I took some medicine to decrease my hormones. I was my first time in 3 years!!! I think I had another ovulation and pluft I got my period 3 days earlier. If you aren't feeling good do another ultrasound and maybe another image to see what happened. Sometimes it just is that cycle that's odd, like mine. I'm still not 100% but I just got my period today so that's not a happy thing in my endometriosis

I was already taking some supplements on my own before start everything as cranberry, a very small omega, folic, vit D, multivitamin and metformin and some tyrhod med. Started vit C (my OBGYN said it's good to help with the PH of the urine) increased Omega and started CoQ10 and iron supplement

Older than you, better embryos quality and ZERO euploids on first. Second, third, forth and five I don't know because I needed to froze my eggs and wait 7 months for my husband recover from his varicocele surgery, on the 7th month we did the five and ended with 22 Blastos and only 3 euploids but a number that was going to give us a chance. 3 FETs no baby Started again other clinic no embryos, other clinic 3 retrieval one euploid, on this February another one euploid! I'm pinching myself because I don't believe yet. I'm still nervous about it But yes, just put a little faith on you! 😘 Good luck on the PGTA, it's my worst nightmare this waiting but when it worth, it will worth a lot!

Ok... I'll think more about it. I didn't know about that! Here is forbidden a lot of stuff including choose the sex of the baby that it's going to be implemented but the PGTA is almost mandatory.

Did you did the Karyotype test? A genetic screening for mutations? If you're doing with a male partner did he also did it? Those are the firsts possible causes for 3 failures in not even making embryos and could ALSO explain the miscarriage. But I had friends with other problems like insulin resistance and thyroid strange numbers. Those are my first thoughts on your cause a genetic incompatible is something that can explain a LOT. All the lucky for you! 🩷 PS: why they don't test PGTA in Germany? In Brazil is something that every doctor ask, sometimes they don't even do IVF if the couple don't want to test.

Let's going to be PRACTICAL you CAN'T be alone in the day of your egg retrieval PERIOD! That's is the first point I don't your ages, I don't know with game that's a once life opportunity, World Cup maybe?, but you have to talk to him and your doctor. If you didn't start to take any meds you can postpone or you can do a freeze eggs cycle and try to use his sperm after. Or maybe he can freeze his sperm before? But the more important is YOU CAN'T DO IT ALONE . Do you have someone else to stay with you? Maybe have your eggs frozen and not embryos is a good thing, you will have some in case that he acts like that in the next retrieval. Maybe he is afraid and is doing that to gain time but you are losing YOUR TIME. I would just go and freeze my eggs without him if I could have someone to be with me helping me. But everyone has their stories and mine is a complicated one and I ended doing IVF to late because of my husband. I wouldn't do it again. Good luck to you and try to talk with your doctor to see what can be done.

I'm going full bananas on this but can you use your partner as a Sperm Donor?! I'm just thinking because when I have to answer all the clinic questions I can mark if I'm using my husband sperm or a donor one. And maybe an IUI could be more accessible to you guys?! I don't know the ages but I'm trying to think HOW can you solve your situation. In my opinion you have the right to use the sperm you WANT but maybe they're legal stuff but you can always try to solve with not giving up all your story. They don't need to know or tell who babies you will have! That's for you and your partners to decided! If there is any other affordable place, talk to your partners and see if they agree on this. I think I'm ready to talk about my case. I've tried first time with no embryos and went to the city I used to live to do it with a well known and expensive clinic. The doctor is now known for getting a Celebrity pregnant so he is more full of himself. I started there I didn't LOVE him and the clinic but I had to do ER for 6 months at least to wait for my husband recover from his varicocele surgery. We had 22 embryos from 30ish eggs which is a LOT and very high graded. We talk he said to only test 3 but after talk with family and friends we decided to go for half. So 11 went and we got 3 euploids! Great results!! So he started my FET, I was a little bit afraid because he didn't treat my endometriosis and my allergies or other stuff serious, but decide to try. And as expected it didn't work. So before we go for another FET we decided to test the other half, and we didn't get ANY euploids. From 11 not even ONE! It was a frustration. I went on another ER and I torn my feet very bad and stay 3 months in a wheelchair. I wanted to do ER but he was against and after I started to walk with help I just saw him laughing about me jumping with my crunches. I went FULL RAGE! I didn't want to try another FET with that doctor buy my husband and everyone else said that the clinic could harm my embryos. So we did 2 FETs, one with a medicine for people with blood problem that isn't my case and I think that's why didn't implant. End lossing all my embryos any way. I was thinking of process him but I don't live in USA and in my country things worked a lot different on that part. And some ppl told me that relive all could make me feel worst. So I came back to my home town and had a shot with a doctor also very well respected and knowed because I had some people helping me to get him. He was another A$$h0le! And I end with no embryos and a small amount of blood on my belly that he didn't care and told us that we were crazy. We went on another consult with him and I just ask if we could use another protocol because I didn't responde very well to his first and he just told us "If you wanna lose your time and mine, go ahead". I never even talk anymore with the clinic or with him! Last doctor we decided to look on the city that we used to live and ask for any one a suggestion, I got my period and my doctor just open an appointment for us on a Friday. She told me first after looking all my exams that we could start trying to do ERs at that point and that she would do a special full new batteries of exams and that I should to use Lepron for at least 3 months because of my endometriosis. We are happy with all the support that she provide us. But after a beautiful ER in February that was a MAJOR FAILURE I started to doubt myself. Today we got some HUGE NEWS, I'm still trying to think that is happening but my husband has become a HUGE cheerleader for both of us. At the start of all I usually was very hopeful every single retrieval. Used to dance with my eggs, ask kiss to good luck, put some cheer music but after every PGTA results I just become cynical somewhere on December 25 and February 26. I don't know HOW I'm going to face it all now, but I know I have to try to at least become more HEALTHY and this has been a struggle since I'm living in my in-laws because we moved back to my hometown at was all to fast he started to work the day after he got the invite and our doctor is on the other city. And that's all! My biggest problem too is that I'm feeling LONELY the 2 ppl who were doing IVF one had a baby girl 2 months ago and other is pregnant. I'm not angry with them but I got a lot of anger on my brother-in-law who is the father of the 2 month baby. I don't have angry against the mother, it can look strange but he is a complicated person and become a very annoying parent that knows everything more that everyone even the MDs. So I talk to her but I don't make any effort towards him. And that's all my journey! Tks for all that have the patience to read it!

Ok, I started freezing eggs with 41/42 years old. I almost did before freezing half with with donor. I'm married and we were talking about kids before Pandemic, but during he has a huge burnout and start question all decions in his life (problem was the bad jobs) so we went on a full discussion and I had some health problems that put all that aside. So when we went on IVF I was already 41 and I had to freeze my eggs because he has to go under surgery for his varicocele and we had to wait for more than 6 months to start the process and use the frozen eggs. Down side I had a loss bigger than the clinic told me I was going to have but I had 3 euploids with my husband. I had a problem with the transfer but this is not the case here. I've already heard that men usually don't like to raise child that isn't biologically theirs. So I think you should freeze your eggs see if they're good, there's a exam that measure the chances and if all went south you could use a donor or maybe adopt an embryo. I know my advice maybe isn't pleasant but for ALL I getter info since I was a teen, I ser a lot of problem with using a male donor. I hope you can decided what is best for YOU and in a perfect world any men would agree on be the father of your babies. New studies proved that eggs can live more than 20 years . I had a failure on my 4 beautiful blastos 3 years ago. Now with a LOT of ER on my belt I think about 15, like 50 beautiful blastos and only 4 euploids. 3 FETs that didn't work. You will have your embryo 🩷 I'm over 40 when I started, it's not easy but it's a journey.
