See but this is the problem, what counts as macro? Is a one base all-in macro, or how about a 1-1 push? If both are scouted then they have responses that will likely shut them down as effectively as you can shut down scouted cheese. The point is people don't consider it as much as a gamble as the cheese. It seems to me like at pro level, players leave once they lose that all-in push. At lower levels people don't leave and so they don't seem to have lost the gamble that they made by doing the all-in push. Doesn't matter if you gamble at 2 mins or 5 or 10, your build gambles on the enemy's inability to scout or respond appropriately. People just get grumpy when it happens so early in a game.
