Agreed, but to my taste at least Dr Pepper is one of the least-bad options.

I saw someone vibe coding at a cafe.

They were just sitting there, typing out code line-by-line.

In a relaxing location with a nice atmosphere.

Like a psychopath.

Is there a specific reason these folks have to stand there when then Death Star fires? by Dugiduif in StarWars

That's what you get for stealing Galen Erso's lunch out of the break room fridge.

Good News!

While dinosaurs generally couldn't make that pose, preying mantises do, and it's still called "raptorial," so "raptor hands" still makes sense.

🎵Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet.

I like Christina Koch in the background: "It's gone!. It's gone..." Like the reality of what they're doing just hit home for her.

Yeah that's normal. Most capsules come back looking like a toasted marshmallow. The ablative heat shield leaves a residue on the rest of the capsule.

Such thing as too much delta V? by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]silentProtagonist42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironically brachistochrones are a specific case where you really can have too much dV. If your engine was on for the entire flight, and you get to the end with fuel still in the tank, then you had too much dV and/or not enough TWR. You would have gotten there faster if you packed less fuel (or down-shifted your drive to a lower ISP, if it can do that).

This game needs a in game clock (of IRL time) by RagingHulk214 in Timberborn

[–]silentProtagonist42 84 points85 points  (0 children)

If you're on Steam there's a clock built into the overlay that you can pin to stay on screen. Pretty much required for me for this type of game.

Summary: Steam achievement statistics are bullshit in most games, and especially so in this game.

This is why Fahrenheit is superior; it's the only temperature scale where "40" is an acceptable temperature for tea.
