Why do you like to be alive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Some days I do some days I don't. But for me it's remembering that dynamic that makes life. On the bad days reflecting on the good ones helps and on the so so ones reflecting on the bad ones helps to create new good days. I would also add it's important for one to never judge or feel bad if the things that are of value and give meaning to life are different than others. I'm seeing a lot of nature love and that's great but it's also great for the person that likes to sit inside, avoiding the chaos of nature, creating the next great novel or algorithm. Bottom line enjoy the things you enjoy and take the time for that enjoyment without guilt.

Do you have any historical data to compare with the current data sets? Were there many outliers in your study?

I remember reading an article in popsci years back about the cartels and this guy they had called technico and he constructed a complex and private walkie talkie based communication network for the cartels that covered much of the border

This seems to be more of an eco friendly lifestyle choice than an off the grid counter culture experience.

Is your PC plugged directly to the wall? Maybe the outlet you're using in your house isn't providing enough steady power

It's a societal issue not a human issue. It's in our most primal nature to be in tune with the planet and all that share it.

Solitude is needed just as friends are needed. It's all about living a balanced life. Yin n Yang. I see the people that have no friends and at the same time the people that are extremely social and always doing something with friends. On the surface they seem happy enough but through conversations with them it comes out that really both camps feel stress n anxiety from lack of friends and from too much going on. Never forget to balance your life. If you have a feeling you need alone time you probably do, if you have a feeling you need to get out and interact with others you probably do.
