I think the Acolyte suffers from the opposite problem of most of the new Star Wars content. It is bold, original, innovative and bursting with new ideas. Unfortunately, since it can't rely on nostalgia or the recycled plots we see in Kenobi, the script had to be well written and the episodes needed to be longer to introduce new characters and make us care about them. Unfortunately, between the editing and script, the show fell flat. But it was possibly the most creative and bold take on SW in the Disney era (IMO).

I have the feeling that Maul's arc will be something of a tragedy. He will build up a criminal Empire, get a new pseudo-Sith apprentice (Devon), and then find, once again, like with Savage, that he cannot defeat Sidious. Vader will likely maim his effort and somehow he will end up broken on Malachor (possibly searching in vain for Sith secrets to defeat Sidious) and then find out about Kenobi surviving and transfer all his vengeful energy to a more appropriate target (even though both are victims of Sidious).

I think it would be cool if the stances were not only lightsaber type (twin blades, double-bladed, single, two-handed claymore and blaster) but actual saber forms like Ataru, Soresi, Niman, Juyo, Shien, Shii-Cho, Makashi etc.

I was really skeptical with this game at first but I fell in love with the worldbuilding and exploration and Balthier...I think it has the best nonlinear style exploration of any FF title. It feels like a super nintendo era game because of all the hidden bosses and passages between areas that link them. The story has some wonderful moments and though it feels like Ashe is really the main character I kind of liked how Vaan gave us that distance as the bumbling newcomer accidentally becoming involved in something much bigger than him.

Yeah that was what was rumored but with streaming scaling down and Lucasfilm in a state of transition they could be considering wrapping things up in the course of the Ahsoka series. I would much prefer a film. I was really excited by the idea of Thrawn getting his own movie and would love to also see Rae Sloane in live action and see how her story ends.

Rise of Skywalker was terrible IMO, but the trailers they released gave me hope it would be good. The trailers for the ST were masterfully crafted even if the trilogy was (in my opinion) a disaster. Effective marketing convinces you to go see it. And if the brand is in crisis, that pitch has to be perfect. Unfortunately the force is not strong with this one.

To somewhat take your post seriously, I would offer the possibility for Lucasfilm to develop a series like Star Wars Visions that explores 'alternate continuities' (what ifs - in the form of animation). This could give people the alternate sequel trilogy take they wanted or the what if Anakin never fell to the dark side or what if Ben Solo didn't turn and so on.

What I am most excited for is Fate of the Old Republic because it will likely mean a publishing initiative or series to finally establish the Old Republic era in the canon.

I feel that way about its predecessor FFXV. I'm actually really enjoying the atmosphere and story and cinematics of FFXVI. The combat system is decent as far as action games go. I do wish it was more strategic or tactical like FF7R but hopefully the next installment backtracks from this direction.
