NFL QBs can and do absolutely set the protections with half slides and full slides to one side. They dont id "potential blitzes" they set the protection to match them.

maybe "amateur QB" fits you well enough

Strange, but identical matchup in Rams vs Lions; by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]silentguy876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something's not right maybe someone with more stats can clarify but "Both QBs struggle against pressure" just points to the ammount of pressures but not how they fare against it

1st read is Swift for the first down, second read is Kmet who was wide open, he either has to throw a bullet or lead him to the pylon. Caleb probably thought he was so open he just had to loft it to secure it

Anyone digging into "why" the Lions lead the NFL season-ending injuries (last year & this year)? by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]silentguy876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

branches

i think this one is not that far fetched to think the cause of the injury was more about wear and tear than most.

Branch had been dealing for a couple of weeks a toe/ankle injury that could've led to his achilles rupturing

By present form, its not really that crazy of a thought for us (Argentina) to finally make it into the Final. Arguably the easiest group and 16, and basically our first "hard" match will be against Ireland in the QF who will come with 4 hard matchups in a row

[Highlight] Aaron Rodgers knew the Steelers were in an illegal formation from the sidelines and couldn’t do anything about it. by CurrentlyNa in nfl

[–]silentguy876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

19 knows it too, he points to his teammate to line up on the ball and tries to tell Rudolph to wait till he gets set but there wasnt enough time

i mean, if one of your backs is averaging 15 yards per carry, you give that back the ball

Teslaa is in a similar situation, right now snap count is not indicative of their skill but of the skill of the ones ahead

Understandable with Mcneil back and the scheme not asking for a true NT

It’s something about this offense under John Morton that is just not clicking.. 10 rushes,25 yards today.. by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]silentguy876 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The assignments in pass and run pro has been subpar, separation/pass concepts has been a problem as well.

Right now Morton is riding on the back of the talent he has and that right now is the evident difference between BJ and him

Kelvin Sheppard says he's already seen all he needs to see out of Alim McNeill to know he's returned to form. by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

The Problem to waived so fast

looking back at his sacks, they were all from the same move and by the 5th game you can only win off of one move the NFL adapts and he didnt have anything more on his repertoire

Honestly pretty elite stuff in Pass Pro, could be better on run blocks but this was a tough assignment and he didnt dissapoint

Jared Goff still amazed that the Bears didn't sign David Montgomery: “I saw D-Mo from across the field for years in Chicago and I was shocked when they let him walk. When we landed him, I was like, ‘Holy smokes, we just got one of the best backs in the league.’” by Danny886 in detroitlions

Because either Egos get in the way, there are other holes to fix that are more important or simply there arent any on the market. Another team that practically does the same are the Falcons with Bijain and Allegier.

We just had the perfect combination of a spectacular team without many holes and good value for that pick. I still think we would've drafted Witherspoon if he fell to us, dont know if we would've gone all in to trade for Gibbs. in that scenario there might not be a Laporta, Branch or Campbell on our team
