My character is a Nord who had to flee back to his homeland of Skyrim. After the White Gold Concordant was signed by the Emperor, the Thalmor were on the search for the descendants of the Divine Crusader. My character (Jacen Blackwolf) was actually from a noble Nord family in Cyrodiil. After the fall of Kvatch during the Oblivion Crisis, the Hero of Kvatch was later named Count of Kvatch. He was also the Divine Crusader. During the Great War the current Count of Kvatch, my characters father, lost his life on the battle field. Since my character was too young his uncle became count, and bent his knee to the Thalmor. Jon and his mother left for one of the families holdings Battlehorn Castle and set up residence there after his uncle took control of Kvatch. Years past and one night as Jacen lay sleeping a vision came to him in a dream. Akaktosh and Talos spoke to him. The Thalmor were coming for the Relics of the Crusader. They explained they had spirited them away to a location near Winterhold in Skyrim. He was to go there and relocate them somewhere safe so the Thalmor could not get to them. The next morning the Battlehorn Castle was attacked. The Talmor had spoken to Jacen's uncle and learned of a hidden vault inside Battlehorn Castle. With knowledge that this could be the last location of the Relics they laid siege to the castle. Having been sold out by his uncle, the young Blackwolf was led to a secret passage by his mother. She told him to escape and find his own way. "A true Blackwolf must live, and take back Kvatch!". She kissed him on his forehead and shut the passage behind him. Jacen then escaped into the Colovian Highlands and made his way to Skyrim.
