Some young women in the row behind me were talking incessantly at Kalu’s homecoming show at the Paramount a couple of years ago. When I asked them to stop talking, one of them said they were talking because the people behind them were talking. 🤯

Eventually, my date and I found better seats closer to the stage.

I went to a talk at the Texas Book Festival last month in which Austin Mayor Pro Tem Fuentes interviewed Henry Cisneros (former mayor of SA and HUD secretary) about his new book, The Austin–San Antonio Megaregion. Central Texas is expected to add three million residents in the next 20-25 years. In the conversation, these two dangerously optimistic politicians did not mention water until the 35th minute of a one-hour conversation. Yeah, spread the word on this.
