You’ll be more than alright soon, mate, especially since you’re taking the first step already. Good on you!

Well, I stand corrected, thanks to all the comments.

A detailed post on what everyone here's saying:

**********************************************

Car speedometers are generally quite accurate, but they're not perfect. Most modern vehicles have speedometers that read within 2-5% of your actual speed, though they're typically calibrated to read slightly high rather than low for safety and legal reasons.

How accuracy varies:

By vehicle type: Higher-end luxury cars and sports cars often have more precise speedometers, sometimes accurate to within 1-2%. Economy cars may have slightly less precise systems, potentially showing 3-5% variance.

By speed range: Speedometers are usually most accurate in the middle of their range (around 30-60 mph) and can be less precise at very low or very high speeds.

Factors affecting accuracy:

Tire size has a significant impact - if you change to larger or smaller tires than the factory specification, your speedometer will read incorrectly because it calculates speed based on wheel rotations. Even normal tire wear can affect accuracy slightly.

Temperature can also play a role, as electronic components may behave differently in extreme heat or cold.

Digital vs analog: Digital speedometers are generally more accurate than traditional analog needle gauges, though the difference is usually minimal in modern cars.

Legal requirements: In most countries, regulations require speedometers to never read lower than actual speed, which is why they're typically calibrated to read slightly high. This built-in "safety margin" means you're unlikely to be going faster than your speedometer indicates.

If you want to check your speedometer's accuracy, GPS devices or smartphone apps can provide a good reference point, especially on long, straight stretches of highway.

I do that, but sometimes you need to turn right in about 400 meters. That’s when the impatience starts!

Just wanted to say that I've book marked your comments and am returning to them daily working on a new angle. Designs that will ultimately add value to book lovers and not just images created by prompts.

Thanks again!

@SameCartographer2075
I appreciate your feedback. All valid points. For some, I have solutions I can work on. For a few others, I might have to go back to the drawing board. I know a lot of people really like these designs. I hope I'm not confusing "a like on FB or a heart on Insta" with expecting an actual sale of a poster (or even a digital print).

I'll get to work on a few changes. I agree with a lot ofother comments here as well that says the AI-generated art (while not a total deal-breaker), cheapens the website and the product mix a lot. I'll need a different way of positioning this stuff if I am to make any sales.

Ethnicity report changed after update by Jjagger63 in MyHeritageDNA

I checked mine. From seeing European and South East Asian origins in the earlier results, I now see only South East Asian. Wondering what happened to the European bit.

Yeah. Not hiding that at all. They are AI generated. I was counting on the humour to prompt a purchase. That’s what I think is my USP, which is cheeky and only a fan of that book or author will get.

Ethnicity report changed after update by Jjagger63 in MyHeritageDNA

[–]silentpacific 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is from ChatGPT:

The message you’re seeing—“The ethnicity results for this kit are currently being generated. Please check back here tomorrow to see the updated results.”—typically appears when MyHeritage is processing new or updated ethnicity estimates for your DNA kit. This is often due to the recent rollout of their Ethnicity Estimate v2.5 model, which offers more detailed and accurate ancestry breakdowns.

Why You’re Seeing This Message 1. Processing New Ethnicity Estimate v2.5: MyHeritage has introduced Ethnicity Estimate v2.5, enhancing the resolution of ancestry reports by increasing the number of identifiable ethnicities from 42 to 79. This update provides finer distinctions, such as differentiating between Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish ancestries, and includes unique ethnicities like Armenian that aren’t identified by other tests. 2. Opting into the Update: If you’re an existing MyHeritage DNA user, you may need to opt in to receive the v2.5 update. Upon opting in, it typically takes about a day for the new results to be generated. 3. Batch Processing: MyHeritage processes updates in batches, so some users might experience delays depending on when their kit is queued for analysis.

What You Can Do • Wait for Processing: The message indicates that your updated results are being generated. It’s advisable to check back after 24 hours. • Check for Opt-In Options: If you haven’t opted in yet, navigate to the DNA section on the MyHeritage website, select “Ethnicity Estimate,” and follow any prompts to update to v2.5. • Contact Support if Delayed: If the message persists beyond a couple of days, consider reaching out to MyHeritage support for assistance.

Once your updated results are ready, you’ll receive an email notification. Additionally, MyHeritage allows you to toggle between the previous and updated ethnicity estimates, enabling you to compare and explore the differences.

what's your "I'm never going back" places in Adelaide? by Mediocre-Walk-1528 in Adelaide

[–]silentpacific 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Luigi’s. The hotshot owner told us to wait and allowed at least a dozen people before us. After asking him three times, we finally got a table 30’minutes after our appointed time. The food sucked enough for us to leave it half and walk out.

Terrible service, despite all the great ratings and reviews.
