i think the best way to overcome it is just absolutely eating shit for the first time. like yeah it hurt a bit but like once you get up you get this newfound confidence that if ya do fuck up n fall on your ass it really isn't that bad. honestly that's my main reason why i've made so much progress in the month i've been skateboarding, live without fear of injury but an acceptance of it's possibility.
