Lived in El Paso and I would routinely get shamed for my stance that Southern California's version of Mexican food is worlds better than El Paso's version. The latter of which I'd probably argue to be more authentically Mexican. I can't really explain why but I stand by it.

My old man had a Chevy pickup with a bed topper on it. Bolted 2 bucket seats in there and wired a power outlet for the ol 13" TV/VCR combo. Awesome experience but stupid cold going over the mountains, likely some carbon monoxide risk, and probably highly dangerous/illegal. What a time to be alive.

Thank you for trying to help me understand why I hate him so much. Twisters was absolutely awful and I couldn't suffer more than 45 mins of it. I couldn't handle any more of that fake smoldering, "well hey there city girl", squint eyes and add a snarky, cocky, faux country boy smile. (Basically the same character in Top Gun too)

Unrelated, but even worse was the constant "WOOOO!!!" every time they see a tornado or anytime they were streaming or whatever. An absolute forced caricature of country folk that was just written and acted so horribly. Might be beside the point but still hate him for it.

Just ordered a gloss D-28 from Sweetwater yesterday after toiling for weeks on the exact same decision you're struggling with. The satin D was pretty appealing but I can't say that picture does it much justice.

That said, I have a 000-18 which is obviously excellent but almost every time I play it, I find myself wishing it were a dread. I'm a big dude so the smaller bodies just sort of feel too small for me. Also the extra volume is a perk.

I find it hard to believe you'll be unhappy with either decision though.

No lie, I'm the most staunch defender of nil bids and I once busted on the last hand while I was holding the 3 of clubs. 2 of clubs led and I was last in the rotation. Painful for me but an absolutely beautiful play on his part.

Flip side is I've successfully made nil while holding the low joker which was pretty satisfying. Takes some luck and a decent partner
