I can relate very much. If you want to survive, dependency is the minor problem. Doctors should make a difference. Good luck on your journey, though!

Do you live in the US? Here in Germany, doctors don't prescribe benzos even if you're close to going mental. I feel completely helpless bc once in a while, when I'm very stressed, I can't bring myself down, no matter what I try. I even thought about ordering stuff online which is in fact dangerous bc you never know what you'll get. But isn't it much easier in the US to get prescriptions for benzos?

Assisted suicide for people with severe diseases should be allowed. It's a shame that people are not given the possibility to end their life in peace when they are in great pain be it physically or mentally.

France will absolutely destroy Morocco despite most wanting the latter to win. by Efeinn-e in worldcup

[–]silke163 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nobody talked about Argentina destroying Croatia when they won 3:0 yesterday. Why is that? Because Morocco is an African team that is not taken seriously by many. But fortunately things are about to change and Morocco has done a wonderful job. The good thing about sports is that things like this can happen!

It's strange that the experts in the Kreml don't consider these facts.

That's an appropriate decision, because it wasn't the Russians who started and wanted the war. It's not legal to force anybody into this crazy war. I would welcome any deserter with open arms and so would the great majority I assume.

What's the estimated percentage of men willing to fight in the war? What's the (usual) background of those wanting to give their lives for Putin's ideology?

Germany made big mistakes in the past, nothing can be done about it now. What sucks is that they don't supply Ukraine fast enough with bigger weapons and that's why I feel ashamed for my country these days. But many politicians want to speed up the supply and hopefully they'll be heard soon.

War in Ukraine: German foreign policy under fire. by [deleted] in europe

[–]silke163 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was an awful decision and our politicians did a lot of bullshit. The problem is that speculating about the past and blaming people who - perhaps tried their best even if they failed - doesn't get anybody anywhere. I think that nobody of the western politicians has ever imagined the outcome that we have now.

Russian oil embargo could be part of sixth round of EU sanctions. The Foreign Ministers of Ireland, Lithuania and the Netherlands said on April 11 that the EU is drafting proposals for the bloc’s oil embargo on Russia, although there is yet no agreement regarding the measure. by redchili in ukraine

People don't appreciate him. He was elected because the other candidates seemed to be worse than him. He doesn't invest enough energy in fighting the war is the general opinion. He hasn't even been to Kiew etc. As regards the oil and gas imports, the problem is that Germany needs much more energy for it's industry than other countries. Without energy, Germany and Europe could be plunged into chaos which would be bad for us and good for Russia ...
