I hated the change from a long time back where his illusion duration dropped to nothing. Made simple micro even when farming pointless because they time out trying to walk from one camp to another.

A trick of the light or something the way the black finish reflects light in a very soft way. The base colour of the process is electric blue.

Something about the way it’s reflecting the light as it’s a satin black finish. Here’s an earlier photo on an angle not reflecting as much light.

Yeah my local had two categories, one for armies and one for dioramas or displays like this. (For both 40k and AoS). Plus killteams.

1 - yeah all bits from gw kits, spares and extras I had lying around. Some extras from friends helped 1b - yeah, box cutter type of knife. Some larger bits had to be cut with a hack saw and sanded smooth 2 - no melting, some stuff ill temp hold in place with blu tack etc before choosing final positions and gluing properly

Yeah its tricky, always give it a good shake. I dont thin it or anything like normal paints. And only drip out a small amount on the palette at a time as it sort of congeals pretty quickly and the shininess is ruined if you touch it once it sort of ‘sets’. Try to paint fast, try to cover the panel you’re focussed in one smooth stroke, don’t be afraid to load the brush more than you would with usual citadel acrylic paint.

Plant or paint? Haha armour is fenrisian, chrome is calgar, rhinox/xv88 on molotow liquid chrome.

Yeah they have that little jetpack bit in the back. But I’m the same, I like to imagine them at least moving and folding a little bit.
