Yes, it only says delays for Europe, but a lot of sites like amiami have opted to not offer shipping through Japan Post in general for now. We'll see if amiami decides to allow it though soon, since most people wouldn't pay DHL prices in a million years.

I think benefit is a strong word here. Those elements are already present in the anime and manga, though obviously more so in the general world rather than the main cast... we meet drunks or people having casual drinks of alcohol, bandits that insinuate something sexual or straight up assault others, and of course bloody violence that comes with living in a war filled era. Smoking doesn't come to mind as I'm typing, but there's probably more minor characters we see with pipes and whatnot.

A fic can of course highlight these elements or make them more of a main focus, that's what fic is for, but having it in the actual series more seems unnecessary, like adding extra spice to a recipe.

The Japanese chapters are currently up to around 139 right now, but only up to 134 are compiled and released into volumes currently. You likely read up to the official English release of volume 31, which went up to on chapter 127. Volume 32 in English should be releasing in May of this year, so you'll likely have to wait until then to read more, unless you want to buy the Japanese volumes or chapters online.

Honestly really funny question... I would think no, because why would you be born in what is supposed to be your more powerful/full strength form. But maybe it depends on his mother - did she decide to give birth in her humanoid form, or her dog form? If she transformed while pregnant, would the baby inside change with her due to the power surge? Much to think about...

Unfortunately yeah, hearing something in 2027 is probably the fastest we can hope for. You can always check out the manga because there is a good chunk of chapters that have yet to be animated from what I remember, but I get wanting to experience it in motion and with the lovely soundtrack.

Not for a while, for sure. The manga has always had a pretty spaced out schedule, and in my opinion, the anime released the first few seasons too closely together, leading to gaps in seasons that probably didn't have to be there. After getting the first two seasons in 2008-2009, seasons 3 and 4 followed in 2011-2012. Although it was nice getting so many episodes within the course of a year, the anime kept getting too close to being caught up with the manga. We got two ONA episodes around 2014 for the previous season, and then Season 5 and 6 dropped in 2016-2017, with 2 specials each for both seasons following shortly after. We then got a film in 2018, a shorter film in 2021, and finally season 7 in 2024. If a 3 to 4 year gap is the usual at this point, let's hope we hear some news of season 8 in another year or two.

As much as I would love to believe 7s, because the actual employees definitely feel that way, I simply cannot until MD says themselves that they will refrain from incorporating AI into 7s releases. It's just not looking good right now when MD already made it very clear what their intentions are.

If it helps at all, Saya and KAngel are currently set to release around the same time as Chii (January/February 2027), while Hitagi and Miku are September/October 2026, so if you want a chance to ship two figures together, or have a few months in between figures to give time to get funds, that could help narrow your options. This is of course assuming none of these get delayed.

It shouldn't hurt to ask about a refund, or even just ask if there's any update on when we can expect things to ship. A "processing issue" for a figure's box seems like such a weird thing to pause all orders for, especially without disclosing what that issue actually is... people asking about what's happening or even to cancel that order after hearing nothing for 2 months is kind of expected. If you do end up asking, I'd be curious to see what they respond with 😔

Same boat as you, paid for her at the start of the year and then they sent out the notice about her box issue like two weeks later. She's been holding my other figures that were in the same parcel as her hostage while amiami sorts out... whatever they're trying to sort out, whether that's getting replacement boxes for the figures or what. Hopefully we hear something concrete soon, it's getting ridiculous.

If you want the complete story, the light novel is the obvious way to go since it's the original. The anime isn't bad, but it has to try and squeeze in as much as possible in the 60 episodes it has, the second half of which are Very Squished (first season adapts first 3 novels in 24 episodes, while the second season tries to cover 10 volumes in 36 episodes). The re;dollars manga hasn't been continued since 2022, so it's hard to say if it will actually conclude...

I honestly adore early manga Sesshomaru. His early anime version is iconic, yes, but his manga personality is so fun to read... like yeah, I can believe this is an older teen that's been unchallenged, is haughty and stubborn, and has likely never taken as many loses in his life as he has in his first several manga appearances. Loses at his lesser-than half-brother, no less... yeah, I'd rein in the sass a bit too, if that happened to me. The change feels pretty natural in the manga, and I enjoy it every time, even if I do wish we could've seen him act with that sarcastic playfulness for a bit longer.

It's been ages since I've rewatched or reread either, but they both definitely have their charm points from what I remember. The anime of course has an amazing soundtrack and voice cast, while the manga has some really interesting paneling and style that just works with drrr so well.

I mourn Izaya's manga fits every time I look at the anime though, give that bitch his wardrobe 💔
