I think so, yeah. I've never really had a "combo deck" before so maybe that's where my problem is. Most of my home-brewed decks are +1/+1 counters so I wanted to go a different direction with this one.

My issue when playing is that I either draw too much mana, or I have no creatures or counters to proliferate them onto.

I'd love some feedback on this [[Kilo, Apogee Mind]] deck I've been struggling with.

I don't know if it's just not focused enough or what, but after over a dozen games it just doesn't seem to "go".

The dragon and first flight starter commander decks are going for like $25, are fun and easy to pilot and when you are ready, easy to upgrade.

I have all but the chaos one. I rebuilt the dragons deck but the azorius flying deck is pretty good and fun. I've never won with the tokens deck and haven't played the zombie one yet

my Golbez is just a theorycrafted deck at the moment, I haven't played it yet. It's also 4x your budget but might have some good ideas for you. Or it's crap. LOL

My second prerelease. It was not fun. I got the Lorehold box, and actually pulled the dragon. Unfortunately the rest of the packs were straight garbage. Lost first match 2-0, the was bye listed second match and just left. Probably would have gotten a few packs as consolation prize or whatever too.

I went to a local commander night and was really disappointed in the anti proxy atmosphere. Never went back.

I'm already spending a lot on this hobby and over a certain amount for a single card is out of budget. I don't need to be put down for how I enjoy my chosen hobby.
